Despite being really hungover today I GOT AT IT. I’m really not sure how I’m alive after last nights sesh but I suspect the ginormous amount of food I ate had something to do with it. I legit couldn’t stop eating yesterday!!
So this morning I made myself run despite not wanting to and it actually felt amazing. I did 3.5 miles and it took me 31:16 which is pretty good as I think that’s about 5.6k!
The 3 mike time was 27:10. I quite enjoyed seeing miles on my watch today instead of kms. Made me think I was faster! I sped up for the last half mile because I was feeling good but I wouldn’t have been able to keep that pace much longer.
It was super windy but I actually loved it. I wore my Champion pants and my new Nike Elites and they were a great combo. Found the fat run shirt a bit annoying though, long sleeves are hard to run in.
I ate porridge before I went (maybe 1-1.5 hours out) and it didn’t upset me stomach at all! Might be a good parkrun/event brekkie. I had it with water and brown sugar and used the high fibre sachet.
Then I went and got a massage. What a great start to the day!!
