Hello Runaan. I hope not to disturb you (I would be sorry if not...) Some questions cross my mind. I come to ask myself: what would be your reaction if you saw a person in Xadia who turns out to be neither human nor elf, but is actually half of the two. Maybe you’ve met some before or not ? Strange question because you don’t know any elves being related to humans ? I know. But I must to put it down.
Half-humans are dark legends. I’ve never seen one, and I’m not sure they really exist. In Moonshadow stories, they’re always chaotic characters, sometimes endangering others because they don’t know the rules. Ethari likes the ones where they’re harmless catalysts for the plot. I tend to find myself reading the ones where the half-humans are a bit more sinister in intent.
Protecting Xadia is my highest calling. If I came across such a dark legend anywhere in Xadia, I’d have some very sharp questions, very quickly. But there is a chance that they’d be more like Ethari’s sort of half-human than mine, so... they might live long enough to do whatever they came to do.
and it isn’t impossible that i’d end up escorting them for it
