Mx Lyla, you've caught another follower in your web. I have an appointment on Thursday afternoon to get an industrial piercing (baby's first piercing!!)
Ooooh YES that’s so exciting!! I hope it goes well! 😃 That’s such a big one to get as your first piercing, I admire your chutzpah! 👏😁
psst! can i have your little jon hcs? or tma hcs in general?
you guys essentially asked for the same thing so i’m gonna go ahead and answer them in the same post if that’s okay?? haflskjfldsf ;w; mainly because i don’t,, really have many general agere headcanons for this series. adlfkjasdf. i’m a one trick pony what can i say? though i do have other characters that i headcanon as littles, like mike crew, maybe melanie, and my hearts telling me little manuela for some reason?? idk these are all thoughts for another time kdfljasldkf
but yeah i’m gonna focus on little jon for now SO:
this boy is so kicky. SO KICKY. he has tiny little feets and he can and will swing them any time he’s sitting. it’s adorable even if it ends with his caregivers getting kicked in the shins on accident from time to time kfldajskdlf
he’s also half kitten you literally can’t convince me otherwise. he very much likes nipping at fingers and playing with string and meowing as a vocal stim and it’s so cute
going along from the kitten thing sometimes he insists on being bottlefed while laying on his tummy like a kitten hlasdfkjsdf. very stressful for his cg because they don’t want him to choke but he seems to like it and it’s hard to say no to him when he’s being so sweet :’D
he hates regular children’s picture books for. obvious reasons but he loves a good fact book!! seriously read him a children’s book about science and he’ll eat that shit UP
he’ll make you reread his favorite facts over and over again though. occupational hazard of having a baby
generally he’s a sweet boy but he abso-goddamn-LUTELY has a bratty streak, mr. “yes i am irritating and i’m proud of that fact”. he loves to irritate his cgs by shouting loudly and with the aforementioned biting hnfhjsjsjsjHSHEJW
he probably doesn’t have a lot of stuffed animals because he’s too embarrassed to go out and get them......but he wants them something get this child some stuffies :(((
baby probably chews on his hair. in fact baby DEFINITELY chews on his hair
he has an oral fixation in general all of his pens have teeth marks. all of his pacifiers have teeth marks. nothing’s spared from the Teeths™
not even his caregivers hldfklkasdfjlksdf
he doesn’t really talk when he’s small except for a couple words and phrases, but he’s not really a silent baby either—he loves making unintelligible baby babbling sounds. just random syllables with some real words mixed it. it’s heart-meltingly adorable and martin could listen to it all day it’s so hgnnandnfs,, sdhfabsfjs 🥺
big feelings little jon. he definitely cries a lot easier when in little space. spilled milk? he cries. scraped knee? here comes the tears. martin leaves the room? oh boy—
HE’S CLINGY he doesn’t always want to be held or pet while in headspace but he wants his caregiver to always be in the room with him.....even if they’re doing something else he needs their Presence
you can imagine him regressing by himself isn’t really fun lmao,, honestly i can imagine him thinking of his regression as a painful/scary thing all throughout his life up until he meets georgie and realizes that oh it’s less scary when you have someone there to look after you (or at the very least when you understand what’s happening to you GOSH poor thing)
also season three made me fall in love with the idea of georgie being jon’s first caregiver......season four made me fall a little out of love with that idea but you know what i still think it’s a good idea dammit
uh
should i talk about diapers here. should i do that
asklfdhlskdfasf
maybe in another post idk i don’t have much to say on that front honestly
anyway. he’s a good boy. best boy. i love him
sorry this?? took forever?? whenever i do headcanon asks every thought i’ve ever had leaves my brain oops. BUT always love to talk about little jon so feel free to shout at me about him in my inbox always 🥺
halfaboyhalfaghost replied to your post “Wait, does Steven have money? He’s going to need to pay for gas and...”
steven pays for everything in cold hard cash
Okay but how much cash can he safely be carrying around with him on this road trip that will surely take many months? I guess he might plan to work odd jobs along the way to earn money... But he’s literally never held any job except alien peace ambassador, teacher, coach, temporary donut shop clerk, roadie, watermelon farmer, restaurant manager, campaign manager, graphic designer... hmm okay maybe he actually does have experience working odd jobs.
please how long did it take to get magnus to a cleric for his nasty nasty thumb. does he loose his arm like like a certain dwarf we know?
magnus unfortunately dies due to the infection spreading through his body and the impact of sloane's battle wagon (hit and run, sloane missed the thrill of being a criminal) shortly after the events i posted. he will forever live on in our memory and in the bone jewelry taako made out of his remains
I wanna get into D&D after listening to taz. Is the 5e starter set worth getting, or should I go right for the player's handbook?
I have never used the starter set, so I can’t be certain. It is very popular (and if you finished TAZ, you already know part of the story, so hey!), and the pre-made characters are pretty great if you don’t want to jump into making your own. If I remember correctly, it also has information on leveling a few basic character classes, up to about level 10, I think?
Almost all of the starter information, you can get on DnD’s website as well. I can’t get the links for you atm (my work computer’s firewall keeps me from accessing gaming websites), but a quick google search can get you the basic rules, a handful of monsters, and those same pre-made character sheets. Honestly, the use of the starter pack is a pre-made set of adventures that are very clearly made for people who haven’t really played much DnD before, so it eases you into it a little more.
The handbook (PHB for short) is definitely an investment. If you keep an eye out, you can definitely find better deals, too. Amazon sells it for about 25 bucks every couple of months, and I’m sure you can get it used. Or find online PDFs if you’re really strapped. It’s also a LOT of information. But it has great stuff about how to build characters quickly, the full set of rules, ect.
So it kinda depends? If you think you’re going to DM, then I’d say that the PHB is probably worth it, just to help solve disputes faster, but you definitely don’t need it to start out. I’d go at least a couple of sessions without it, making sure to keep the internet on hand for looking up questions very fast. There’s a TON of resources out there on youtube or reddit or what have you that show you how to run a game, from mechanics to more complex issues.
If you’re going to just play, then I’d say you definitely don’t need the PHB up front. Having one or two at the table is really useful, but mostly you just need the stats on your class and race (which you can get online with a good google search), and your character sheet (you can download the PDF for free on the DnD website and just use that! Or there are great websites like Orcpub2 that help you build it out, but they have limited information sometimes).
I’d say you also 100 percent don’t need the starter campaign stuff, either. Literally googling ‘good starter 5e games’ will net you a ton of stuff. Some you can pay for, like on the DM Guild (great place!), and there are a bunch of free ones (I just ran A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, which is a famous 5e one-shot freely available). Or if you want to make your own, go for it! I homebrew (make up my own stuff) almost everything.
If you have more specifics, hmu, especially on messenger, and I’m happy to help walk you through it. But there’s a HUGE community out there of great people who love getting newbies into the game. DnD is a complex, weird little system that’s a lot of fun to play, and it’s incredibly open-ended. That means there’s a lot of upfront learning so that you can just run the game smoothly after. But it’s so, so worth it.
