I think it was like "gateway"? I have distinct memories of seeing their billboards during long roadtrips thru the midwest. simpler days for sure *sigh*

I did not get very far with my guitar lessons ;( major regret. try to learn tab (finger picking) if you get the time! fun to play short, recognizable melodies. and play as frequently as possible so you don't lose the calluses! even if that means 5mins or less a day
Solid advice! Thanks! I’m starting mostly with chords, because this all started because I took a songwriting class... but I also need to learn to sing lol so... one step at a time I guess or all the steps at a time and we’ll see how it goes
I’ve only been “playing” for two days so far. I’ve lasted about 15 minutes each time, and... my fingertips are feeling weird. I don’t think I’ve quite developed callouses yet
but if and when I do, I’ll do my best not to lose them!
How did you hear about The 100? Do you strongly relate to any of the characters?
I actually only started watching The 100 because of tumblr. I binged all the episodes just in time to watch the finale of season 2. I think I was a little behind on the trend.
And I relate most to Clarke. She puts so much pressure on herself to do the right thing and to help the others around her. She knows the world isn’t black and white like some of the others try to make it to be. She’s headstrong and likes things to go her way. She cares so deeply for everyone and has compassion toward them, even those she isn’t fond of. When she gets something into her head, you can’t talk her out of it.

I actually prefer Chrome (as everyone does), but my Mom is convinced it brought a virus onto our computer last time it was on, so she's banned it from the computer. I guess this will be fun to explain.
