Respite || RP with HalfPintHero
The gathering at Destiny Islands had been a lot of fun to attend. It was interesting to see that the Islands hadn’t changed much since he’d last been there, and It was nice for Terra to get to know those that were there during the final battle as his friends. He was also glad that Ventus and Aqua made new friends as well.
He’d even gotten to meet the person that looked just like Ventus. Even after a quick explanation, he still mistook Roxas for Ven a few times, but he didn’t seemed to mind. He was sure Lea did the same thing to Ventus.
A conversation with Riku led to a race and Roxas joined in after a little while. He didn’t mind very much, actually he enjoyed being able to put his endurance to the test, especially after not being able to use his body for so long.
He made sure to go around and at least say hello to everybody, some he stayed and talked to for longer. Soon the sun set behind the clouds and Ventus eagerly came up to him, chatting excitedly about being under the stars. They spent the beginning of the night together and then Ventus fell asleep on him. By that time everyone was getting ready to go back home, but the Wayfinder took a while to leave.
After a few more moments, Aqua got up and gathered Ventus in her arms, lifting him up and then looked down at Terra who was still sitting in the sand.
“I’m going to go ahead and take Ven home. Are you coming with me?”
Terra looked up at her with a smile and shook his head, “I... think I’d like to stay here for a while, but I’ll be back soon, okay?”
Aqua nodded her head simply and smiled back to him before turning and walking away. Terra shifted positions so he was laying and staring up at the stars. Now that he was alone, he had time to think.
