|| Hide & Seek || Eunhee & Jaehyun

It was almost unthinkable that Jaehyun – the guy who was known for always having a reason to not meet up with someone – was now on his way to see a girl named Eunhee whom he, of all places, had met through a message board dedicated to paranormal fanatics. It wasn’t that he belonged to that category but he had developed a habit of sitting in front of his laptop, browsing through the many horror stories as well as the users’ supposed encounters with the other side.
Oh, it was amusing to read and some of it even sounded plausible while others were more similar to a cheap Hollywood movie.
The two had decided to meet up to try out a game or more precisely a ritual, the raven haired male had read about the week before; One-Man Hide & Seek. Since they had discussed it publicly on the board, more than just a few people a shot comments their way about how stupid it was for strangers to do such things together and if Jaehyun actually believed in all that paranormal crap, then he would’ve been scared but that wasn’t the case.
The game was going to take place in an abandoned house, partly because it was going to be torn down anyway so if anything went wrong at least it wasn’t in their neighbourhood, but it also because it simply was the perfect location with its eerie atmosphere. Jaehyun had willingly taken the responsibility of bringing everything needed in order for the game to work, after all it was his idea and it also gave him a sense of control; something he didn’t seem to have much of lately.
Since the game had to start at 3:00 AM, Jaehyun had suggested that they’d meet at two just to leave them an hour to get familiar with the house and prepare everything.
There were still eleven minutes left before the scheduled time and Jaehyun was growing impatient because Eunhee had yet to arrive.
