Halgerda brunneomaculata
Halgerda terramtuentis
Hawaii
September 2017
Name: Halgerda dichromis My personal name: Black and yellow fellow Location: East coast of South Africa Diet: Sponges Commonality: Rare
So happy to have found a good solid nudibranch on my second dive at Hawaii. This is the gold lace nudibranch- Halgerda terramtuentis. It's endemic to Hawaii and the name "terramtuentis" means "looking at the earth with care". I'm in love with this beautiful friend.
Name: Halgerda toliara My personal name: Lemon lightning Location: Madagascar and South Africa Size: 0.5-4.0 cm long Commonality: Uncommon (I'm assuming this because this was all the information I could find)
#inktober six: a lumpy halgerda sp. inspired by a photo from @yoshihiro210_gallery, really love the body turn in the image. Drawn on @adobe's #adobedraw #nudibranch #halgerda #illustration #inktober2016 #seaslug #sketch #animal #sealife #art #vector (at Portland, Oregon)
