Today is the beginning of the Anglo-Saxon Haligmonað (Holimonth) which will culminate in the Eve of the Eve of the Autumnal Equinox. This month’s full moon is the Grain Moon.
It is the last month of summer. Here in the American South where it gets quite hot, things are starting to dry up and the green is not quite so new.
In my spiritual world Freo and Ing are starting to tire, but are still producing.
