One of the reason’s I relate to Hal Jordan is because he is someone who has the willpower to overcome great fear. ✳️ A few years ago I ended up in the hospital due to an undiagnosed heart 💔 condition. Laying in a hospital lucky to be alive, made me confront my own mortality. It made me acknowledge the fears that played a part in holding me back. I decided then and there to not let anything prevent me from achieving my own happiness. I may still struggle with fears sometimes but I try to not let them grow and twist in my mind, consuming it. For myself, the only way to kill fear is to bring it out into the open. Other people can help us understand our fears, to make them into something we can overcome.
