Something that deeply unnerves me, and likely a lot of my audience too, is how often people bring up the fact that Gooseworx is a trans woman, as if that somehow excuses her behaviors recently with the "nega" jokes and her old, frankly disturbing, tweets.

Marginalized identity is not a shield against accountability. She is still a white person, and being queer does not exempt anyone from perpetuating anti-black racism. This situation alone shows a desperate need for a BASIC understanding of intersectionality.

Being a woman does not erase her white privilege. Being a trans woman does not exempt her from anti-black behavior. Neither is calling those things out misogynist or transphobic.

And even if she weren't white, like the friends she was laughing with, identity defenses still fail: being a POC person doesn't erase anti-blackness when you are not a Black person. Non-black POC people can, and absolutely do, perpetuate anti-black racism.

Now that we have heard gangle is revealed be Indian (or black, mixed reporting).. lots of questions as to why exactly your (you, Gooseworx) self insert, Jax, is so comfortable humiliating and harming gangle who is found out to be that in your canon...

i think if Hazbin really wanted to play with the idea of 'Christian hypocrisy' and criticism of the religion in general, then they should've shown sinners who were like, prosperity preachers, grifting televangelists, those who used their faith to justify cruelty and bigotry, etc.

honestly i think Vox should've been a prosperity preacher and not a weatherman turned serial killer (but he could be a weather man turned prosperity preacher too); it would give him a great excuse to want to take over heaven too, as he'd feel like he was owed an afterlife of paradise because he 'believed in God and the Bible', and not even caring to stop and think that his actions were what truly denied him heaven

Vivienne does everything to avoid making Lucifer a morally dubious/evil guy.

Oh? I could make Lucifer apathetic to the Vox situation and want to stay out of it so that Charlie can see how sinners truly are? Nah, he just can’t hurt sinners!

Oh? I could make Lucifer act more like the sin he represents? Nooo he just makes confident comments sometimes but he’s actually unconfident because of his ex wife!

When you really think about it, Charlie prioritizing sinners, these objectively horrible people, over her actual people, the natives of Hell who are struggling to make it in the Pride Ring, especially with human souls ending up in Hell and causing an overpopulation crisis requiring annual exterminations, is kinda fucked up. And the way she goes about her delusions adds insult to injury.
