Kira understood Halwyn better than anyone. Their experiences, while not the same, were similar enough to draw conclusions, and Kira definitely felt like she was drawing correct conclusions. Halwyn was righteous, and Kira understood that feeling.

Kira teaches Halwyn about a lot of 21st-century things like callphones and tvs. She never assumes he doesn't know about something, though, and only helps when asked
Halwyn is a pretty good chef but doesn't really know a lot of more modern dishes or foods and doesn't care enough about food to use a recipe. Kira likes to cook but isn't too good at it so if she wants to participate its usually with Halwyn at the helm
Full moons don't affect them much, so neither of them really pay too much attention to them. Kira likes to know just for her pack as well as to make sure that she's aware in case of attacks
Halwyn likes to spend time in nature, and Kira likes to join him, just to spend more time with him. He's not one for movie theaters or coffee shops
Kira loves to travel, but Halwyn is very sedentary and dislikes moving so much. It's a bit of a point of contention in their relationship, but both of them understand the part of the other that wants these things and loves it. They come to a compromise and go on at least one trip per year
