Nachtteufel; The Nachtteufel or Night Fiends, are a potent psychic predator. They attract prey with witch lights born from the souls of previous victims. Feeding on the flesh and lifeforce of their meals. Normally reclusive but potent ambush predators they are highly sought by the Chirurgeons who further enhance their abilities with necroalchemy and genetic engineering. The Nachtteufel faced by the wider galaxy are nightmares to behold. Swarmed by the shackled geists, both their own victims, and those slain around them, the cacophony of shrieks drives anyone with a modicum of psychic talent mad. Some more powerful and attuned psykers drop dead from severe hemorrhaging in their brains. Worse when aggravated the Nachtteufel can unleash their collected souls as a distilled blast of pure destructive warp energy.
