imagine you scan a new alt and this model of car has touchscreens so somebody climbs in and starts touching your screens like:
“Ahh!” He fought the overwhelming urge to transform back into root mode. “Don’t do that!”
Ryder put his hands in the air. “Do what?! I wasn’t touching anything but the radio!”
“Yeah, that!”
“Why not? You always let me play music,” Ryder whined.
Halo relented. Maybe the kid had just bumped some newly exposed, sensitive part of his construction accidentally. “Fine, fine.”
Ryder swiped his fingers across the screen and Halo couldn’t stop himself. That was the newly exposed, sensitive part. Thankfully, Ryder had experienced being inside a transformation before and Halo’s passenger safety protocols kicked in, moving parts out of the way to make room for Ryder.
“Okay, touchscreens are a no-go,” Halo announced to Ryder, who was now standing on his palm. “It feels like you’re sticking a live wire between my seats every time.”
