Ham Yard Hotel London Pic
Sam’s fan pic was in front of a now permanently closed coffee shop called Over Under Coffee
This was tricky but I like a good challenge. Not a whole lot to go off of in the fan pic except for the number 4 above Sam’s hat and then the buildings in the reflections.
We know he is in front of a yellow brick wall (which is all around the Ham Yard hotel courtyard). Based on the window reflections, I knew that a column and window with a ledge would be to the left of them. I zoomed on Sam’s lens reflection to help pinpoint it further, now to find a column directly next to them while they have the brick wall to their right.
With google maps, I was able to locate the coffee shop.
Even though it’s closed, someone wrote a blog in 2019 and added pics. The winning pic was an angle from inside the cafe outside.
Look at that. A column directly in front and to their left. And definitely 4 Ham Yard Hotel.
You can see the columns and ledges of the windows match up. And for those who don’t agree, please search 4 Ham Yard and it will bring you to the courtyard surrounded by a yellow brick wall and windows with ledges such as this. It won’t let me link the blog post but here’s the main page image. As far as I can tell, nothing is in the old coffee shop location unless they merged with the hotel directly.
