So, after seeing these eps, are you gonna alter your sibling AU any or leave it as is?
TIME TO DO SOME CHANGES
Ok, so I think I’ll change it to either their father leaving, going with Mama or him passing away, seeing as how he’s not mentioned or present in the episode. No more bad strict dad. Mama Hamato (still calling her Aimi, fight me if you don’t like it) leaves but tells Saki to watch over his younger brothers and sisters and listen to their grandpa. He’s still miffed that Yoshi chose fame over duty and went with Sho to convince him.
Seeing how sweet their Grandpa Sho is, Saki isn’t as much of a hardass, but has his moments. He cares for his family a bit better and deeply loves and respects his Ojii-chan. He tries to resent his mother a little for leaving them all behind and putting that pressure on him, but he misses her immensely. He tries to hide it. Wants to seem strong as the oldest child. He puts his soul into training to rid himself of the pain.
Nori doesn’t have to hide the fact that’s she’s a lesbian from her mom or grandfather, they’re accepting. Sho actually figures it out, that old man sense he has. Her mother’s departure hurts her deeply, and takes over as a maternal figure to her family. Loves her Jii-Jii to pieces. Believes Yoshi is not mature enough to live out as an action star and worries about him a lot.
Kenji is still very close to Yoshi and comforts him after their mother leaves, he cried a lot himself but his ototo needs him. Kenji helps his grandpa out as much as possible. Kenji didn’t have to help Yoshi escape home, but still supports Yoshi’s dreams. He would write letters to Yoshi/Lou every now and then.
The twins were told that their mom went off to do something important, being young as they were, they wouldn’t have understood. They asked constantly about when she would be back. Sho always just said soon. He didn’t know what else to tell them, and instructed the older ones not to reveal too much. Hikari had a hard time because his mother’s singing and hugs helped him sleep better. Hiroki would miss her tea ceremonies with her and Yoshi and her mother dressing her up in different dress/kimonos. Yoshi’s leaving hurts them, Hikari especially. Their mother ‘deserted’ them, now their Aniki!
Mei is still a baby when her mother goes away, around 1 or 2 months old, if not for the stories and pictures of her...Thankfully Grandpa Sho and her older siblings took good care of her. Mei is still creepy as fuck, constantly making voodoo dolls of her mother. Sho had to stop her from trying to summon a spiritual copy of Aimi. That was a bit far. This time she’s aware Lou Jitsu is her brother, so no crushes on long lost brother. But Mei still admires him.
In Happy Family AU + (Sibling AU by @rottmntrulesall), how would Mama Hamato react if she happens to reunite with Lou Jitsu and find out his husband and offspring as well as the rest of the Hamato siblings?
Seventeen. Seventeen years since Aimi had last seen Yoshi, her little Yo-Yo. Seventeen years since she abandon him and her the rest of her precious children. Dear God, has it truly been THAT long? Would he even remember her?
Almost two decades, Aimi had been alone. Trying to stay under the radar away from the clan. Ran from one clan to join another, only to flee from there as well. It was as if that’s the purpose she had. Running from her duties. For so long, Aimi wanted to make light of this predicament; trying to play it off as the urge to travel the world, but who was she trying to fool? Now she was here, in New York. Planning to start anew and find a new home for herself. She was skimming through apartment listings only to come across a newspaper article about a famous action star. It was like a lightening bolt of clarity struck her hard when she got a better look at the picture it showed.
Lou and Aimi come across each other one day. Cue tearful reunion.
Kisses to you @honeyneechan
You’re going to be someone extraordinary...

A'ight more siblings au questions!!! So considering all this new au cannon/lore, what was Yasha like in this new cannon? Was he still kinda distant-ish or was he more amiable/friendly whenever he got to be with his family? Did he get to see his family much or were visits a once-in-a-blue-moon sort of event? (1/2)
Yasha was still strict, a bit old-fashioned, but was a more loving father and husband. He had a typical in-law relationship with Sho. He always made sure his children were well disciplined, but gave them more freedom. His family owned a dojo which was in his possession. That’s how he earned money and he and Sho trained the kids once they each turned 7 and other people in it before he went off for the mission that took his life. Any other free time he had, Yasha would spend with Aimi.
