I made this recipe last night for Aya, who wanted Japanese Hamburger Steak (Hambagu) and crushed it. The whole family loved it, even pickier than picky David who made “do I like this?” Confused face the entire time as he cleaned his plate. He even ate the cabbage and soy ginger dressing Aya whipped up.
So if you need that Hambagu dinner before the train home to Yokohama experience, either go to B1 level of Tokyo Station or come to my house. One of us got you.
Or check out the recipe—it’s simple and easy. I made 1.5x the recipe and used 2 parts beef to 1 part ground pot when I scaled it up because reasons but I wanted 6oz steaks instead of 4oz meatballs lol.
