emika is a boba addict—she always is looking for new flavors to try
at some point after wildcard, emika and annie pattridge (the girl emika was friendly with in high school, who was involved in the incident that led to emika’s criminal record) happen to cross paths randomly at an event, and the two become close friends
roshan has tried at least six different instruments, but he is best at the viola and often does recitals for his family
hammie is good at hip hop dance, and she and her dad have one-on-one dance competitions together in their free time; brooke and her mom cheer on the sidelines
after wildcard, tremaine makes sure to visit his mom at rehab more often and talks to her about anything important going on in his life (he talks a lot about roshan and emika)
asher was/is terrible at chemistry, and he got his worst grade ever in that said subject

hammie and brooke are two years apart, and they fight relentlessly when within a meter of each other; hammie gets extremely annoyed when brooke borrows her clothes and has even locked her bedroom before to prevent her from taking any more clothes
