This stereoview has unfortunately been damaged over time, but in it we can still make out a woman comforting a baby in a carriage, along with several men, one of whom is probably the dipper boy for the spring.

The Hamilton Spring stood behind the Congress Hall hotel, at the corner of Spring and Putnam streets, and originally included a bath house, though later the water was only used for drinking.

 Spring AU!

Alexander is a lonely author who just started college, where he meets his new friends, Aaron Burr, John Laurens, Lafayette and Hercules Mulligan. He never really had friends before, so he was having the best days of his life. 

 One day, he was writing in the garden, like usual. That was where he saw Eliza, a beautiful girl who takes some flowers to her flower shop regularly. Unfortunately, Alexander was too much of a chicken to talk to her. But, will they meet again?
