so.. guess who saw hamilton live on broadway last wednesday?

anyone who knows me at all knows what this experience meant to me. My mom told me that she put funds together with my brother to snag me and her some nosebleeds and i cried like a baby😭 a little embarrassing to do in front of my mom but LOL we ball.

things have been so unfathomably hard with my father in recent, who i've already talked about is extremely abusive both physically and verbally and just really emotionally unstable. i'm not gonna sit here and explain it but these last two years have been complete and utter hell and stress as i've been singlehandedly protecting my little sister from my dad's wrath.

mama bought me tickets to hamilton because she wanted me to have at least one happy spot in the midst of my recent struggles. and oh my God. i have never experienced anything that lifted my spirits like this play has. i love hamilton so much and dreamt of seeing it live. i cried far too many times to count.

since seeing it i've felt so uncharacteristically optimistic about this year. i think i can get through it. it is joys like these that make it all worth it, after all.

thank you to all the actors and stagehands and musicians and just everyone who made this experience one of a kind! you were incredible!

and thanks to lin manuel miranda for writing such a masterpiece of a musical. it has changed my life.
