Thinking about the time my freshman studies professor asked me what my interests were and I started infodumping about Hamlet. And she just nodded sagely and said “It makes sense that you like Hamlet…. The original Emo boy. Get thee to some therapy and whatnot.” It has not left my brain.

Modern Hamlet is that emo theatre kid who picks up skulls in Target and does soliloquies.

Horatio is less than amused

Horatio: What are you doing?

Hamlet, at 4 in the afternoon, laying under 5 blankets in only boxers, very obviously having not left his bed all day: I'm having a Me Day.

Horatio, pulling the blankets back: False, a depressive episode is what you're having. C'mon, let's get you some food.

"If you truly desire it, I will take my leave without a glance behind me. Though, my lord, if there is even an inkling of doubt in your mind on the matter, I implore you beg me stay." is without a doubt the sweetest line I have ever written and it's for a Hamlet fanfiction.
