thinking about how horatio from hamlet is a prophet (because he’s genre-aware, he knows what’s coming) & how disability and superpowers are two sides of the same coin (both will make people see you as an inhuman freak to either be ostracized or idolized) & how ghosts are stories that the living and the dead tell each other & how humans evolved to cooperate and love and care for each other & how objective reality is a myth, nothing but a phantom & how marriage and death are intertwined in ancient greek culture & how monsterhood is an alternative to growing up, or the same thing as growing up, depending on how you look at it.
