PSA: there are many people who are just starting binding and trying to find out about it. having misleading and harmful information on art is dangerous to these people. ace binding and all kinds of dangerous forms of binding is being shown everywhere and many people think that this is the way to go. I must point out that it's dangerous and wrong. if you are drawing anything with the character binding; research!
yeah!! i was like 14 when i tried ace bandages. i didnt even know that binders were a thing that exists. every time i had seen drawing of someone binding, they were using ace bandages. every single time. how i was supposed to know that i should have googled “is it safe to bind with ace bandages?” when literally all art about binding i had ever seen treated ace binding as okay thing to do.
