Hammerhead flatworm, Diversibipalium sp., Geoplanidae
Photographed in Singapore by budak
This species is native to Singapore where it was found and is NOT the invasive hammerhead flatworm found in part of the US. Comments about killing it will get you blocked.

the garden i tend at work is getting overrun with snails so i thought about a world where we acquired a domesticated a "working dog" breed of hammerhead worm (they eat snails and slugs and worms) that is also. a puppy. Bred to clear vegetation of common slimy garden pests. click under readmore if u wanna see the worm theyre based off of i think theyre really cute

It’s interesting that nearly everyone, including myself, when they first encounter Greyroot in Silksong, connect her to the White Lady in Hollow Knight. Because when she reveals her true nature as a parasite, I realized what she was probably meant to be.
She’s a hammerhead flatworm; granted, hammerhead flatworms are predators rather than parasitic worms and reproduce by fragmentation or eggs, but the two tendrils seem pretty indicative that’s what she was designed after, regardless of the biological accuracy. The thing is, this doesn’t actually make me less fond of the idea that she’s somehow related to the White Lady, but rather, does that make the White Lady some kind of parasitic worm creature as well? It would be quite interesting if so!
