At first glance, most people here would probably identify this as the 'flying suitcase' otherwise know as the Handley Page Hampden.
Closer inspection reveals it's a Napier Dagger engined variants, renamed as HP Herefords. Noisy and very unreliable, none saw operational service.

Hampden College was not an Oxford, dark academic-esque university. It was a small, rural school focused on the studies of humanities. It's based off of Bennington college, a liberal arts school Donna Tartt attended between 1982-1986. I've seen so many The Secret History inspired Pinterest boards that get it all wrong!
