I like the game! Currently doing black eagle route I might be forced into playing blue lions next… I love playing with someone who knows a lot about the series it’s v cool and makes the game a lot more enjoyable than just playing solo. Playing as mByleth we named him dababy I think he’s so silly. I haaaaaaate that I can’t recruit some people onto my team and then I have to KILL the people like one of my faves is Catherine and apparently this is the only route you can’t recruit her in. wtf. Also I’m sooooooo excited to see time skip vers omggggg Anyway this is my first fire emblem game and I’m def into it thank you marrrr 🫶

There are millions of stories about magic out there in the world and yet witch hat atelier remains my favorite out of all of them. Something about how accessible magic really is (it’s a skill everyone is capable of… so no dumbass “you have to have magic blood” bullshit), the incredible thought put into the design of the spells, and it goes without saying that the art (personally one of the best in all manga and an inspiration EVERY PANEL) is phenomenal and really sells the fantastical world that they live in. The plot is consistently a page turner, and just oh my fucking god. Yeah some scenes Get me. I don’t know how the anime could possibly capture this but I hope it’s good and I hope it gets more people to read the manga bc it truly is a masterpiece. Can’t stress this enough the sheer LOOK of this manga should be plenty even if someone doesn’t like anything else about the story

It was raining and I was in a somewhat bad mood when I had the best bibimbap I’ve had in my entire life (low bar) and it’s crazy because last night I had a conversation with a Japanese lady where she said that when she had bibimbap she liked to just enjoy each component without mixing it all and at the time I was like yeah I can understand that but after eating it today I have to retract my statement because good lord. Raw egg yolk soaked into steaming hot rice mixed with perfectly seasoned vegetables got me kind of emotional like life flashing before my eyes but it’s food and not death and I felt my heart soften again; I hadn’t been appreciating the roaring river nor the incredible scenery as much as I should because I was too focused on my misery and this fucking eye opening dish made me reflect a little and when we finished our meals and went outside, the rain had stopped
