I may be a bit bias towards this drama since I just recently finished it and now want to start a religion to it. I feel utterly ashamed that I always bypassed it on Viki and only now decided to watch it. 😭 The series hit me in all the right feel-ly good places where I was squealing with a goofy smile with each episode. I know it’s a bit cliche and corny with the storyline. Basically the rich man sort of poor girl trope, it’s been done a thousand times over, but I absolutely adored this version. It readily and easily became one of my favorites fast. I mean the chemistry between the two leads were sizzling 🔥 Quickly becoming one of my tops on cutest couple. The acting also 🔥I just ........gah... This drama took me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting to love it so much.

Joo Jang Mi’s love story is still one of my favorites nearly six years later. Coming off a painfully, embarrassing breakup, Jang Mi is desperate to get back in the relationship game. Cut to our favorite trope: fake dating! The hi-jinks are hilarious, the chemistry is sizzling. It was truly wonderful to see Jang Mi and Ki Tae come together from opposing views on love and marriage, and how that involved healing both of their mothers’ own pain and trauma regarding romantic and familial love. In the end, it wasn’t the grand proposal or fairy tale wedding she imagined, but she got a partner who was willing to trust and try with her, through the best and worst of times. And maybe that’s more than enough.
She said: "What are you doing?" He answered: "Proof that we're lovers".
