Getting emotional thinking about Han Muchun taking young qijiu as disciples. Shen Jiu yelling at Qi-ge not to trust this suspicious con artist, but Yue Qi has a good impression of him. Besides, he already bought their contracts, what more can they do? SJ isn't going to try to run if Qi-ge won't follow, so he begrudgingly follows along.

To SJ's surprise their shady "shifu" who looks like he could barely win against a fox brings them to a Real Legit Cultivation Sect (meager as it may be), feeds and clothes them, and doesn't even kick Shen Jiu out for trying to kill his horrible shixiong.

thoughts devolving into incoherent mash of YQY and SJ getting a good father figure, but qijiu curled together in their new house (when offered their pick they chose to live together) debating if they can trust this-- its too good to be real, there has to be a trick or a catch. But they keep being housed and fed and no one whips them and they can feel their cultivation developing under the guiding hand of an adult who doesn't want to harm them or even seem to want anything from them, and no one comes to take it away.
