He let's out a little laugh, it breezes through his lips half-heartedly. His head turns away from her as he looms out the window, his coffee is raised to his lips to take a sip before planting it down. His eyes watch the early morning activities of the Seireitei with quiet amusement. Yes, he is blushing. His head tilts downward in thought, before turning back to her.

"I just had this thought." He'd hum, his lips pulling into a smile. The type of smile which spoke of pleasant contentment. A sound outside causes his head to turn again, and he sees a Shino student apologizing profusely to a Gotei member they have ran into. He watches this scene and speaks once more without looking at her. "It's silly really." He'd muse for a second, his hand coming to rest over the top of his steaming coffee mug. He moves to look at her.

"I was thinking about what it might be like to be a father." He let's out a laugh, lifting up a hand waving it dismissively. "Silly, I told you."

His eyes drift back to the student outside the window, apologizing. The idea of having something to care for, to leave a legacy behind, it was silly to him. Worth blushing over. Because such thoughts where reserved for men better than he.

"I ought' to get to the meeting."

He is standing now, his daydreams are over.

There should be more peaceful days in there. One’s where a nap in a middle of the day doesn’t end with Nanako waking him up that he’s needed for something. Or maybe she wasn’t there, because he went for a little trip? Still, upcoming presence, even if friendly was enough for him to slowly wake up.

His hat raised just a little bit, enough to see fellow captain’s face hanging over him, before fully looking up. Not that he needed that to recognize her, reiatsu was enough to tell who was there.

“   & there I thought I’d be safe from everyone. Looks like I was wrong.   “ A bit of dramatic sigh. Of course he’d be found by someone sooner or later, he’d probably have to go to human world to successfully hide away. Still, if there was an emergency or something important, she wouldn’t just hang around anyway. Pure accident? Possibly. So instead he patted the ground beside him with an offer.  “   How about you join me? Under this tree is plenty of place for everyone who needs a good rest, Miki-san.   “
