Is the Tsurui okiya of Gion Matsuri doing well? They have only three geisha as well. If you aren't sure that's fine, they just happen to be the house of two of my favorite geisha.
yes, Tsurui okiya from Gion Kobu is doing very well. In fact they were very well rewarded at Baika Shorei Shou (awards for hanadai - services) Sayaka won the 2nd prize, and Kyouka and Satsuki won the 3rd prize - wich is very good for Satsuki since she is just a junior maiko
