Guess who's back on the UTMV grind and working on Parallel Synthesis again

First, here's where you can read more about the Parallel Synthesis AU if you're not familiar with it!

So, I'm currently working on giving everyone a few outfit updates, but for now I'll introduce someone who's been around for a while now but never got the chance to post about.

Thiiiis is Chrysanthemum, or Chrys! An Asriel variant who was basically adopted by Nightmare's gang. He's also besties with my other fankid, Pyrite! I'll talk more about him and his dynamic with the others soon, but here's some background information about him under the cut:

He comes from an AU called Hanakotale

Hanakotale is a classic AU that has one major difference

There is a rare curse that manifests as flowers growing from cracks in the soul, that eventually sprouts from different parts of your body in the later stages

The flowers themselves are made out of magic and happens when the dormant magic inside a human or monster's body is too great for them to handle

This is also often fatal, or at least has a very small survival rate

Yes, this was originally inspired by Flowerfell and the Hanahaki illness

Chrys and Hanakotale Frisk both have the curse and Chrys breaking the barrier in the end removed his curse, but Frisk still had theirs

So, Chrys took on Frisk's curse

Nightmare found him because he sensed an unusually high amount of negativity (for a supposedly peaceful surface AU)

He pinpointed the source to the exact spot where Frisk falls in the underground, where he finds a little Asriel surrounded by flower petals and completely alone
