SO people have given me shit for saying hand creme instead of lotion

but I am here today to put my foot down and declare that creme and lotion are two entirely separate beasts!!!!

lotion's main ingredient is water and it will happily spurt out a pump or squeeze out a tube - it evaporates before you have a chance to fully rub it in

hand creme will split the fucking plastic joins on that tube before it deigns to exit via that tiny, inconsiderately provided hole, and you have to grind it into your skin through a Herculean effort of heat and friction and sweaty buffing

and yes, I am prepared to die on this strange, esoteric hill
