The scholars say this could have been due to the idea that if it was heard by others, they would scoff at his request - how could an eldery man have a child? Allah ﷻ responds to this and every other request that is seemingly impossible by saying: "It is easy for Me” [19:9]. We are not asking people who are limited, we are asking Allah and nothing is beyond His capacity. This Ramadan, know that Allah gives limitlessly, easily and ask accordingly!”

My aunt is in the ICU with COVID. After a long battle with cancer, she caught COVID in the hospital. Her cancer has spread severely to the point she was in constant pain. She has four young boys.

I would greatly appreciate dua for her overall well-being, her akhirah, and her children.

She has spent her married life taking care of my grandparents. She moved into the refugee camp they live in instead of requesting a nicer home in the city in Amman. My grandpa is a very stubborn old man and often when she would cook a meal for the family he would refuse to eat it and request something else. Without a complaint she would prepare it for him. She is such a kind woman who would give compliments to people just to make them smile.
