3. What is your favorite part of promotion cycles?

when the dance practice is posted and when the original choreo is posted by the choreographer! i just really like practice videos, like even more than live stages and performance videos :)

9. What group’s ballads do you like most?

akmu! second and third are day6 and red velvet. i hate ballads but the slowest songs that i would choose to listen to are all akmu songs i think. like time and fallen leaves and melted are totally on another level, i listen to tafl relatively often now that i’m thinking about it! with rv and day6 their ballads are better than other groups’ but not my favorite songs of theirs overall.

Top 3 Hidden Gems in Pentagon's Discography?

ooohhh this is such an important question.... i shall carefully consider it ok...

im not sure if these are widely considered hidden gems? they're songs that i haven’t seen a lot of people talk about though

1) lost paradise! most people seem to talk about round 1, sha la la, and spring snow off genie:us so she deserves a mention. wooseok’s voice is everything to me on this song.  one of my favorite ptg songs in general tbh

2) cosmo! it’s one of my favorite japanese comebacks of any group i follow. like the acoustic guitar, yanan’s voice, the harmony on yooUuUu aRrEeE... everything about it is perfect

3) when i was in love! this song... its just so pretty. it feels a little bit like its off a movie soundtrack to me. like the two love interests just had a dramatic breakup in the rain because of a misunderstanding so now they're both wandering the streets without umbrellas, wondering where it all went wrong.... i love songs that make me picture movie scenes and things

I feel like I don’t flaunt my love for Monsta X enough on my blog so here we go:

Monsta X

Shownu: Dramarama- listen i think he just owned this whole era and i see no one talking about it!!!! the choreo and the song were all his vibe. Shoot Out or Hero are very close seconds.

Kihyun: Lost in the Dream- How could I NOT associate Kihyun with this song? His vocals in this give me goosebumps to this day. A runner up would be fantasia just bc his pronunciation of it cracks me up.

Hyungwon: Play it Cool- This is one of my FAVORITE Monsta X tracks and I feel like it fits Hyunwon’s vibes. Chill and relaxed but with plenty of attitude.

Jooheon: Alligator- “Hello I’m, and ali aligator” is what i want engraved on my headstone when i die. The lyric is very playful Jooheon but his verse after that is SO GOOD. Zone was a close second just because of the sheer chaotic vibes.

Changkyun: Stealer- I have no great explanation for this one except that it encapsulates his vibe well. And its a total bop and in my top 10 fave monsta x songs.

(Wonho) All In!!! The MOST under appreciated kpop song of all time. They really gave us gay, post apocalyptic witches and no one talks about it???? Anyways, the vibe of the song and the visuals are all very wonho. Also, listen to open mind.

Aphrodite: what do you love most about yourself?

honestly the fact that i know my boundaries and limits and i honor them. ive become more in tune with what i like and dont like over the past couple years now and its made me feel better about how i think and interact with others.

Hypnos: what was your most recent dream about?

i had one last night! i was going to the mall with my friend, i think he was going to work and i was just in search of some clothes. i had my dog with me and when i went to the first store, a bookstore, i somehow lost him (my dog). i didnt realize until i met up with friends later and we exited the store. i was so upset. in my bag i found his leash but idk why i unhooked him. we started wandering around more in search of him when he came bounding up to us. he was very dirty. we ended up going to the store my friend worked at and talking with him for a bit before i wanted to go somewhere else. but the mall was closing so there was only one store i could really go to.

Zeus: what do you think about thunderstorms?

i love listening to them but i do not like being in them. i lived in florida for a couple months last year and i would get caught in them constantly. there was one instance where the storm was right above us and my friends and i made the stupid decision to run to the car....it was lowkey one of the scariest instances ive ever been in. 😅
