This simple lavender lemonade recipe is a fun and fragrant take on regular lemonade. There is a great balance of flavors when you mix fresh lavender flowers with sour lemon juice.
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh lavender flowers. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. 4 cups cold water. Ice cubes. Lemon slices for garnish.
Instructions: Put the sugar, lavender flowers, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Over medium-low heat, bring the mixture to a simmer. Stir it every now and then until the sugar is completely gone. Take the lavender syrup off the heat and let it cool down to room temperature. Take the flowers out of the lavender syrup by straining it, and then pour it into a pitcher. Put the lemon juice that you just squeezed and the last three cups of cold water in the pitcher. Mix things together well. Put the lavender lemonade in the fridge for at least an hour to get cold. Put it on ice cubes and top with lemon slices.
