All of these questions and I'm simply wondering...how did you two even manage this?!
Chair-Kun: I don’t think it’s a question of how but rather who…
Which school would you two go to since you clearly can't go to both?
He’ll blend right in!
I think he looks good in the Shujin uniform.
The Chains That Bind~ [open]
Darkness...
She was surrounded by it, an inky blackness that allowed for no penatration of light whatsoever. This was altogether strange as she was sure there had still been alot of daylight left when they had boarded the plane that would take them back to Iwakiri.
Cold...
Her entire frame felt chilled and she wondered if somebody had turned the airconditioning up a little too much. Surely there was no need for the temperature to be so low considering that it wasn't even summer anymore. It wasn't helping that parts of her felt wet although she couldn't fathom why that would be unless a careless attendent had spilt something on her while passing down the aisle. It could explain why she had woken from her slumber.
Pain...
There was pain everywhere that she could feel, her nerve endings all tingling in agony. Her head especially was throbbing... constantly throbbing while her limbs seemed to protest movement of any sort. Despite her body's pained complaints she still stretched out a feeble hand to caress her broken mask fragment.
My mask's gone...
With a sudden jolt she sky-rocketed into a sitting position, the sudden movement sending a wave of pain through her body which caused her to release a low hiss of pain. The panic of her missing mask was momentarily forgotten when she glanced down and saw the condition of her knee.
I'm bleeding...
Nel had noticed the rocks beneath her, which was the obvious cause for all her pain and knee injury, but under normal circumstances her Hierro should have been more than sufficient to prevent an injury of any sort. Even landing on a pile of rocks.
Gradually her disorientation was wearing off, and now she could tell quite easliy that something was wrong. Not only was she not on the plane but it seemed as if her Arrancar abilities just ceased to be. It made her feel lost and unsure, like a part of her identity had simply been stripped away.
Nel drew her knees up to her chin and was about to raise both arms to cross them over her knees when suddenly she heard a distinct clink and the cool feel of metal on her left wrist.
What on earth...
A quick glance revealed a handcuff, a handcuff that was not only attached to her left wrist but also attached to someone else. As if in slow motion she gradually turned her head to her chained companion, eyes widening slightly in surprise when she finally faced the other who only seemed to be rousing now.
@Margaret: SunMoon Handcuffs
She awakened slowly, with a heavy sensation. The eyes opening with the same slow, and the breath longing hard. The right hand to the face, covering and guarding the first sigh of the day.
But, what's this feeling? An old warmth, and her left harm felt difficult to move. Alice's glare moved to that position.
Margaret. She was here, in her sleeping clothes, too. She was just hugging her, grabbing her arm with strenght, sleeping deeply. With a sweet smile, she just seemed a little baby doll, resting in totally peace, claiming the warm of and older sister. That reminded Alice about past, better times. No wonder why her sister finally wasn't mad at her, and was at her house, sleeping next to herself in her own lonely bed.
Then, she noticed with wide-eyes. The handcuff in their wirsts. Alice, the left one, Mags, the right one. Luckily, the chain was long enough to able certain movement. "What the...?" Mumblered, trying to not awaken her little sister. "Another trick of The Reformatory? Okay. Now I need to babysit my own sister?" Alice letted out a short yawn, but strangely, she smiled softly, seeing her sister's face."Like good old times, huh? better if you can hold my lifestyle."
She got up carefully. Like a little kola and her mother, Alice held Maggie at her back, while instintively the little sister hugged her like a turtle shell. Alice walked slowly, while her sister yawned in comfort. Alice smiled again, that was something they used to do when they were little, as Maggie was a sleepyhead in weekends, due to her constant love to nights and late sleeps.
She reached the kitchen, grabbed eggs from the fridge, and started to cook a big omelette with bacon. Nobody could tell that Margaret Moonlight loved the classic omelette with bacon, but her sister knew.
She was sure Maggie would awaken as sound as the smell of the food start to get going. This was just... To explain the situation with a better look, and taste.
