15/100 for #100sareepact I might not use filters on Instagram but I still filter my photos that I post. For someone who hasn't been wearing makeup in daily life for over 2 years now (or has it been longer? Maybe 3 or 4?), I sure put a lot of pressure on myself to apply makeup when I know I'll be taking photos. I have to confess that sometimes that's the reason I don't put a saree on - I know that photos will be taken, but I don't want to deal with makeup so I end up not doing anything at all. This photo is me in a home improvement store after walking around a nursery that had no AC. My skin, but face especially, turns very red when I'm hot and I'm very self conscious about it. Had I had makeup on, it would hide most of the redness, but today I just wanted to put a saree on and go. So I did. The saree is the same one I wore a little over a week ago, except this time I washed it and got all of the starch out. 6/100 I always get accused of being extremely negative about where I live. I don't deny it. I hate living in this town with a passion and I'm not quiet about it if someone asks my opinion. I'm constantly get told that "it's what you make out of it" and "there is so MUCH stuff to do if you're willing to drive a little". A "little" in this instance mean 2-3-4+ hrs of driving one way. I've been here for over 3.5 years and I AM making the best of it. It's not in the way "they" consider acceptable, but if I cared about what "they" thought, I would just stay quiet when someone asks me what I think about living in Clovis. I wear sarees, kimono, hats, vintage style clothes and then post photos on social media. I talk to my friends from all over the world constantly, and I take day or weekend trips when $$, time off work and availability of cat sitters allows it.
