A tribute to handplates - almost three years later.
It's been a long time since I've spent time thinking about undertale, but this little corner of the community has always held a special place in my heart.
About three years ago, I uploaded a fistfull of beginner sketches and whatnot to Tumblr depicting the three skeletons on which the story focuses. (This post). They weren't great. I was just another annoying undertale kid. Bad fanfiction, crummy art and all. But when I woke up the next day and saw my art featured on Zar's blog, my heart exploded with joy. That was the beginning. It was like a renaissance for me. My writing improved, so too did my art. I had new drive. I got better.
Now: here we are. Three years down the road, coming back to where it all began. I'm here to say--from the bottom of my heart--thank you, @zarla-s. I hope you enjoy this!
