A diverse coalition of Palestinians, Arabs, along with members of other student, faith-based, academic, legal and human rights and other social justice groups, will hold a rally and march to protest Israel’s increasingly escalating attacks on Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza. The protestors will also march to the News Corp. Center at Avenue of the Americas to stress their demands for fair coverage of these attacks. Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have said that Israel’s actions against Palestinian citizens since the disappearance of the three Israeli youths on June 12 amount to collective punishment, which is against international law. The protestors are calling for an end to Israel's collective punishment and violence against Palestinian men, women, and children. The protestors also demand that mainstream media outlets end biased reporting that only covers the Israeli youth who have been killed, while ignoring the more than 14 Palestinians killed since the Israeli army operations began. Similar protests are being held over the next few days in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, Omaha, and Des Moines and throughout Europe.

New York City: Emergency Protest Against Israeli Crimes in Palestine

Wednesday, June 25 - 6pm

Israeli Consulate, 800 Second Avenue, Manhattan

A diverse coalition of New York community members, students, activists, and academics respond to the Palestinian call for support and have called for a rally as an emergency response to the raids, bombings, demolitions, murders and kidnappings by Israeli Forces over the past week.

The rally will demand an end to the Israeli siege and occupation, and the release of all Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces, with special emphasis on the immediate release of the estimated 200 Palestinian children who languish in Israeli military prisons. #BringBackOurBoys, #HandsOffOurChildren, #EndChildPrisoners. The rally organizers join the Palestinians in their demands for:

1. Immediate Release of All Palestinian Prisoners; 2. Immediate release and protection of all kidnapped Palestinian Children; 3. Immediate end to all raids and incursions; 4.Support of the Palestinian right to resistance and self-defense against Israeli attacks, occupation, raids and kidnappings; and 5. Support the immediate right of all Palestinian to return to their homes.
