A Handsome Encounter
Here’s a dumb thing I wrote based off @julialepetit ‘s terrifying new monster/cryptid child in the latest @drawfee episode where they make new Creepy Pasta characters. Please watch it, it’s amazing and these guys are amazing. So without any further ado, a creepy pasta for Julia’s newest Creepy Pasta creature, Handsome George.
I'm putting this here because I don't know where else to put it. If what I've learned could help someone else then that's great, but honestly I just needed somewhere to put this all in one place. If you ever encounter Handsome George this is what you can expect. Good luck.
Handsome George will approach you in the dead of night when you're walking outside all alone, in true creepy pasta fashion. Out of the corner of your eye you will see a rustling and hear the scuttling sound of hooves, paws, talons and human feet upon the forest floor. Turning to the sound you will see the face of a man who you can somehow still tell was once quite good looking. Now though, his skin wraps around his head in a disturbing imitation of hair. Giving him the most grotesque mullet you have ever seen that, honestly, suits him rather well.
Attached to this head is a body, oblong and shaped so incorrectly it makes your head swim just looking at it. The next thing you’ll notice after the thick, bulbous amalgamation of a body is the limbs. Or, well, legs I suppose. There are so many different looking legs and they all move at different times. Each limb seems to have a mind of its own when the creature isn't putting them in action. The sound it makes is grating and all together pretty unpleasant to hear.
Calling to you from the treeline he will introduce himself as Handsome George and ask you to play a game. 'A simple counting game.' he will assure you. This game is anything but simple, but saying no isn’t an option. Running isn’t an option. Once you’ve seen him your legs won’t move, as they’re under his control now. He will then ask you to count how many legs he has, a true conundrum given the waving mass of limbs, but he promises he will grant you your greatest wish if you succeed. If you guess wrong however, he will take your legs to add to his own growing number.
Do not worry about him keeping his word, creatures like him always keep their word.
His body is always partially obscured behind rocks or bathed in darkness, so knowing the true number of legs he has is impossible. It could be, and I’m sure it is, millions upon millions of legs. Handsome George will give you a fighting chance however, as he finds no pleasure in easily won leg gains. He only asks you to tell him how many legs he is choosing to show you at that instance.
Be wary! While he doesn't enjoy winning an unfair game, his greatest pleasure is tricking his victims. (Also legs. Legs are kind of his thing.) This added condition to his game is a trap to give you fleeting hope that you might survive this encounter. Just enough to make you work for what will ultimately lead to the loss of the game and your legs.
Here is his trick: Just when you think you've counted all of his legs there is another leg hidden just behind you, out of sight. Don’t ask me how I know, I was just lucky enough to figure it out I suppose.
In order to survive a fateful encounter with Handsome George you must call upon every ounce of night vision your human eyes give you and count his many legs. Be careful not to count them more than once and try to remember your place. Skipping a number or counting the same leg twice will cost you your own legs remember. Once you think you've counted all the legs he's shown you, add one leg to account for the hidden limb. Then speak your final answer clearly, don’t mess up because there is no second chance.
If you've counted correctly and added the trick leg into your final total you will win his game and keep your legs. He will begrudgingly leave you alone and move impossibly, with an extreme clatter, back into the woods. You can then return to doing whatever it was you were doing when you went out walking in the middle of the night. Congratulations.
What about your prize you ask? Don’t worry, like I said creatures like him always keep their word. He’ll grant you your greatest wish.
After all, Handsome George knows that everyone secretly wishes they had another set of legs.

“He was also absolutely beautiful. I mean, I’m not gay or anything, but I know a good looking chap when I see one, and George Harrison was way beyond handsome. His dark hair was still lustrous, and he peered from beneath it with deep, twinkling eyes and the suggestion of a Merseybeat-era cheeky grin” - Mark Radcliffe, "Thank You For The Days"
A glimpse of... ::GASP!:: plain black shoe... Cardinal Georg Ganswein looks on as Pope Francis prepares to greet cardinals in Sala Clementina at the Vatican on March 15, 2013.
Just moments after this shot, Papa Francesco stumbled as his shoe caught his front hem.

Strolling in the gardens with Archbishop Georg Ganswein, and what's this?! A glimpse of Pontifex Emeritus shoe during his stay at Castel Gandolfo! Brown? Black? Loafers? Lace-ups? We can't tell, Benny! :::sigh::: Snazzy white baseball cap though...
