Ow... James wasn’t sure what had happened. One minute he’d been working in the small temporary shack he called home for now and the next he’d felt a searing pain in his head and passed out. He felt slow, groggy and eased himself up with a shake of his head.

“... how long was I out?” He thought aloud, pulling back his sleeve to check his watch. 

An hour, sure he’d had glitches before but nothing like that! Maybe a self diagnostic was in order. Easing himself unsteadily to his feet James picked up his fallen chair and sat at his laptop, plugging the wire into his port to do an in-depth scan. Better safe than sorry.

Oh what Zer0 wouldn’t give to be able to reach out and throttle him, fingers even now twitching to do so. But they won’t give the A.I. the satisfaction of having their fingers pass through his neck.

“I can find some more, if you’re in the mood for them. You do love insults.” Is it childish to sit spitting names at the A.I. ghost of a dead man? Yes, yes it is. Luckily Zer0 doesn’t much care.

August shouldn’t have been surprised.  She was the only woman crazy enough on this planet to date someone like Handsome Jack.  He remembered staying in a Lynchwood jail cell after he was caught trying to cut down some of his men from the gallows after a deal went south with Vallory,  If it wasn’t for him mom bailing him out, he would have been next.  Though of course, he didn’t leave Lynchwood completely unpunished...
