Hand Tool of the Week: This is a veritas medium shoulder plane. I purchased it with some Christmas money about eight years ago and have used it on practically every piece of furniture that has been through my shop since. One of the features I like best about this plane is that its narrow shape allows it to fit into the bottom of a 3/4” dado joint.
