It’s off the loom.

Linen, monofilament double cloth with warp painting.

I am trying to think of a way in which I can attach the above tiny weaving to a backdrop and whether it would look better on a fabric or paper backdrop. I think it will need a box frame. I have 6 different pieces to sort. Ideas?

At last! The return to the loom and horrid warp.

It’s a bit of a disaster this - started with two warps, removed one and stupidly decided to work the remaining linen warp. Anyway, repurposed silk sari yarn and linen.

My initial efforts weaving with the linen thrums that I patiently tied together to form a hank of yarn. All knots included.

The Stash Busting Scarf Weave Along has ended and here is my finished scarf. The colour is much more bold in the flesh, as it were. So from yarns to scarf on my Louet David loom.
