Haneul couldn’t contain her laughter as she sat across from Jackson. “Yah! You’re eating all of the whip cream. Just like you did in your video.” She teased, using her finger she scooped a bit of whip cream from her spoon and leaned across the table to place it on his nose. “That’s for trying to eat it all.” She smiled at him before sitting down again, taking a big scoop of their ice cream bowl, she held it to his mouth. “Now say ah~ “

“Don’t do it, stop, don’t come near me!” he warned as she did, but it was too late. He laughs, looking at the girl in disbelief. “Yah, this is war.” he replies in a mockingly serious tone, slamming the table with one hand as he stood up. However, he takes a mouth of the ice cream that she offers her and immediately brushes her cheek with his ‘fingerful’ of whipped cream. Letting out his usual airy laughter once again as he achieved his revenge mission. “Cute.”

     The questions comes flying along to collide to his eardrums, and perhaps the memory swimming all the way to the surface unfolds as the reason to the laughter now muffled behind his pale, slender fingers. Indeed--some or the moments lived before such a turn of events installed itself in his life were still there and he couldn’t be more thankful. As she asked, long arms came to cross over a broad chest along with the hems of his long sleeves shirt sliding  up to his wrists instead of ghosting over knuckles, chocolate orbs turning the attention towards the female sitting by the other far of the table at a peaceful coffee shop. “If I were to forget how you practically forced me to teach you proper Korean back then, I swear I would need some help. Honestly, how could I forget?“

     A small click of a sharp tongue follows the warm liquid of his black coffee sliding down along his throat, a warmth settling in his chest as the moments comes to be a reminiscent of what things used to be like. “At least it paid off, right? You’re apparently a big star now.“ With a snort, the photographer’s fingers slowly come to card through the silky locks daring to blur his vision through long lashes, now perfectly parted and pushed back, though the silkiness brings a few rebel strands back forward. It’s amusing, still, how even after all this time, a ghost from his past can come to life and brings back an actual heartwarming memory.

—- ☂ || Soft winds swept over the fields of her mind before they gathered into a wide hurricane before him. A wide smirk tugged at the corner of the foreign lips, this form was still unfamiliar to him though he knew every corner of the mind that belonged to this body which he turned upside down. Now the owner was dead, was nothing more than a scanty feast.

He knew he had to run some before he could find her among this land so diverse in colour and shape, he’d entered her dreams. From the pocket of his jacket he took out a clock so antique in its looks that it seemed like it did not belong to this period of time, or was it not from this world?

His gaze followed the moving hand of the clock as it more gradually slowed dwn along with any being surrounding him before everything suddenly stopped. “Now where are you, little girl?”, the monster spoke, turned into an animal unknown to this dimension and just like the winds before, swept over the land, moved trees and grass with his wide wings before he made halt at a girl sitting in front of a canvas, painting. 

He landed on the ground and as he jumped, he turned back into his human form. With a snap of his fingers, time moved forward again.

“You’ve been playing hide and seek?” Suddenlty, he was crouching down in front of her as though he’d transported himself.

—- ☂ || Parker lay beside the girl on the grass, arms and legs spread away from his body as he stared up to the night sky, visibly drowned in his own dreams. Only occasionally, the falling leafs would found their way into his mind and suddenly --- the female’s question resounded in his head.

What did he think was their purpose? It was a question he had asked himself before, hoped to find answers in books and poems, maybe even write his own answer, his own purpose. “I don’t know”, he said carelessly, now moving his legs in a childish manner. “I think our purpose is to find our own purpose.. Also, live happily and harm no one.” That answer was good enough, not good to be formed into a poem, but enough to satisfy the sleepy male. The lack of sleep was evident in his chaotic appearance and his childish actions.
