Hanjae is a surprisingly good cook and loves to cook meals for the others, as well as for his friends. He’s usually too lazy, though, sadly, and it takes a lot of motivation building on his part to do anything.

He played soccer for years and still prides himself on being athletic...but that doesn’t mean he can keep up with RE:NEW’s Ari when they go on runs together. 

Works out constantly and has been showing off more and more...no one’s gonna be surprised if he ends up ripping his shirt off randomly and playing keyboard tits out at some point. 

Bullies Jian like his life depends on it, pisses Atlas off like it’s his day job, and still manages to get away with just about everything because the staff like him. (Okay, okay, they all love each other, but still). 

Because neither of the other two are fluent in English, 99% of the time, he’s the group’s spokesman when they’re outside of Korea. When they’re promoting domestically, however, he usually spaces out during interviews and doesn’t tend to talk much. 

He broke his wrist during a soccer game when he was 15, and now it makes a gross clicking sound when he shakes it. He was supposed to stop playing piano as a result, but guess who didn’t listen? He torments Jian with the nasty clicking sound as often as he can. 

He’s red-green colorblind but likes to pretend he isn’t. 

He’s so spacey that he’s drawn all over his jeans during live broadcasts before, when he thought the pen in his hand was capped.

I won’t just let that be ruined because she’s been brainwashed by that- that guy to whore herself out for money. She’ll come back to me- I’ll fucking make her. Just you watch.”

Trace looked over at Hanjae holding Siyeon close to his chest and it made the male smile “Okay, what I’m about to admit, would get me hit if she was in ear shot, and I’ll deny it if you tell her I said this but....” He got closer to the male whispering a bit “I’m a hundred percent positive, Siyeon likes me more than she does Seline.”

“Obsessed? I care about my relationship, that’s all. I’m not just going to let my girlfriend end our relationship on some fantasy idea of me being controlling when in reality she’s just learned that from her friend. I doubt that’s how she genuinely feels, Y/n is so easily influenced at times I honestly get worried with who she chooses to hang out with.”

“Joy and I have been friends since we were kids, I can understand why some people tend to get the wrong idea. But she’s not just my friend, she’s my best friend, I can’t imagine life without her. I just wish Y/n would understand that...”

Hanjae leaned back in his seat, his jaw clenched and the vein in his neck protruding as memories of his and Y/n’s fight came to mind before finally speaking, tone curt and sharp,

“I do love Y/n, I love her more than anything but she can be so infuriatingly naive at times! She likes to have decisions made for her, she enjoys having someone to follow rather than lead herself, and that’s exactly what I do but now I’m suddenly being controlling despite that being what she wants in a relationship? She wants us to be close but now she’s at school constantly, she always has rehearsal, and now she’s spitting excuses to not come over at night. I’m the best she can do, and if she doesn’t understand my love then she’s just going to have to learn.”

Seline knew she had no right to be even a little bit jealous, she was the one who left, the one who cut things off, but here she was literally consumed with jealousy. This wasn’t the first time she had seen Hanjae, far from it, they saw each other all the time, they just tried to avoid on another. But she couldn’t keep her eyes off of him tonight, so when she noticed someone was flirting with him it made her stomach churn. She tried to ignore it, she did, but it wasn’t working, and the room felt suffocating and she needed a breath of fresh air, she told Imelda she would be right back, her eyes avoiding Hanjae as she weaved her way through the crowd, she made sure to refill her cup grabbing another, before finally making it outside, she sat down taking a swig of her drink mumbling out a few curse words as she settled down not planning on going back inside.
