2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have? Hanji distanced themself from their mother, although they still hold respect for her; she only wanted the best for her child. She didn’t want Hanji to go into the Recon Corps, and risk their life like that. They still think of her sometimes;; they respect her. They do love their mother dearly, they could never hate the only parental figure they had in their life. Their mother didn’t hold much influence over them at all.

13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates?Hanji loved school. They always were reading, learning as much as they could, and borrowing as many books as they could physically carry to bring home and read. They didn’t fare well with their schoolmates;; they constantly fought with others, but they looked up to their teachers, and always scored high in school.

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?Hanji’s discoveries are usually major, but sometimes, their plans don’t work as well as they wished;; these failed plans that didn’t work out as well as they had planned, and killed people, are Hanji’s deepest disillusions. {{ ahaha i dont know for this one }}

26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?(In a modern AU) Hanji’s home is organized chaos. The kitchen is the cleanest, being where they cook their meals and actually bother to clean up after themselves;; their bedroom is the most chaotic. They have dark wooden floors in every room besides their bedroom, which is red with a dark black carpet. They prefer open space, so there are plenty of windows available to open and let the breeze and sweet springtime scents permeate the house, especially in their kitchen. Stacked on shelves are books and Hanji’s collections;; they enjoy collecting rocks and other gemstones, as well as vases that they frequently pick flowers for. Dried lavender and other herbs keep the house smelling nice, hanging every here and there. Out back, there is a stone deck and pathway through the yard, which flourishes with all kinds of plants and flowers. On the deck sits an outdoor table where they often sit to drink coffee or tea, with or without guests.They have a personal taste in plain colored things, colors that aren’t too bright. They prefer browns, greens and reds.Their clothing is simple yet stylish. They love to wear skinny jeans, high waisted pants, sneakers or boots, oversized sweaters and cute outerwear.Hanji doesn’t do much with their hair, usually pulling it up into a messy ponytail or bun, or having it half-up half-down. Sometimes they’ll leave it down, but not too often.

5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

Hanji was protected by their mother, but not to the point where they were considered ‘sheltered’; they could roam free, doing whatever they wanted in their city. It was just inside of Wall Maria, up in the eastern part, and Hanji always would try to dig under the walls or destroy them, obviously to no avail. They frequently got in trouble, getting scoldings from their mother.

☂ Favorite weather:LIGHT RAIN. hanji loves light rain. they go outside and have a cup of tea and just relax.

✂ How well they do yardwork (or blow up the lawnmower):HAHAHAHA hanji is a nightmare. they’re somewhat okay at managing a garden, i mean they pull the weeds but they let everything grow wild. so it’s like a jungle garden. but the money hanji has spent on lawnmower repairs is ridiculous.

♨ Their cooking ability (or lack thereof):They’re okay?? at cooking. like it’s not awful, sometimes they burn stuff but unless they’re closely following a recipe it’s not like AMAZING or anything

◆ hanji has a deep alto voice. they can range from alto to second soprano, and even though they don’t seem like they’d be good at it, they can sing. they don’t let others hear them, and only do it when they’re sure they’re alone.

◆ i don’t know which ship meme you want, so i’ll just do both of the ones i just reblogged;;

yells at the other for leaving wet towels on the bed          petra has to lecture hanji about this. they are a mess.

whines when the other forgets what they wanted after going grocery shopping          hanji. they’re always craving something different or something weird, and petra has a hard time keeping up. petra doesn’t let hanji go grocery shopping alone because they will just buy a bunch of weird stuff.

leaves five half drank bottles of water in their room          hanji. petra has to clean up after them.

initiates a quickie while at somewhere they shouldn’t          hanji does this way, way more than they should. at work, at some event, a family reunion; they don’t care.

surprises the other with their favorite fast food for dinner          petra. she likes to bring home hanji’s favorite;; wendy’s chicken sandwiches, tacos from taco bell, or something from magic wok.

is massively hungover after celebrating their anniversary          both. hanji urges petra to drink, and they both feel horrible in the morning but accomplished.

argues for double stuffed Oreos over regular          petra does not hear the end of it from hanji. they do not accept anything less than double stuffed.

buys $200 worth of baby things after finding out they’re expecting          hanji. they also get over-excited about decorating the room and are constantly cuddling petra and wanting to feel the baby bump.

insists that they each get their own popcorn at the cinema          petra. hanji puts on too much butter and salt and it makes petra sick.

packs the lunches          petra. hanji sneaks a bunch of sweets in anyways.

blows raspberries while cuddling          hanji does, the kids love it.

is the tickle monster          hanji. the kids love it.

gives life lesson speeches          petra. she’s really good at it, too, and the kids always get a little teary-eyed or feel much more confident afterwards.

kisses the boo-boos           both. they both care very much for the kids and will do it, even if it seems ridiculous.

joins the PTA          petra. she worries more about the kids in school.

crashes sleepovers with embarrassing stories           hanji, they have the most embarrassing stories to tell about their kids possible. petra tries to discourage them.
