Awakening at the crack of dawn, a great yawn escaped him as he stretched. There had been quite a ruckus outside, which caused his pull into reality. Wondering if the cats had probably gotten into the shed again, he scratched at his chin. Before even reaching the backdoor, the sight of two felines greeted him. Then he began to grow even more suspicious and high alerted. Carefully unlocking the door, he opened it as quick as he could to avoid letting his little friends out.
Shutting it behind himself, his eyes scanned the backyard and fell upon a rather excited dog. Who happened to be digging up holes. It looked quite familiar, but he was more concerned on how the said animal got onto his property. Slowly making his way around to the gate, he noticed no flaws. Headed towards the fence he found the problem. The canine had clawed and dug it’s way under the fence from the neighbors house.
Not exactly having a leash proper for an animal it’s size, he returned back inside and decided to wait until later in the morning to deal with this issue. A shower to clear his mind from this event seemed nice.
After completing that task, he dressed himself and went on his way next door. It only took a few knocks, then ringing the doorbell, and knocking again a few more times. Finally getting a response, a sigh of relief left him. once the sight of the owner came into view, he was left a bit lost at finding words. Clearing his throat, a sentence had been formed.
“I, uh, think your dog..may have ruined the fence and got into my backyard...do you mind getting him out?” Mike attempted in sounding as if he didn’t mind, but it had been quite difficult. Who wouldn’t be at least a bit upset that a dog dug up a whole lot of holes and chipped the bottom of the fence keeping it on it’s side?
