‘fac fortia et patere’ → ‘do brave deed and endure’
how to get away with magic → henry shade
‘mr. wilde, we have probably cause to suspect you of more than ten murders i the last month. i’d suggest your start cooperating if you don’t want to face those charges.’
Henry “Hank” Shade is good at what he does. And what he does is solve mysteries faster than anyone else.
But Wilde is a mystery that’s turned out to be much more complicated than he expected. He may not have killed anyone, but he’s certainly not innocent.
Whatever’s going on in the city, this Wilde guy is a part of it. And if Hank is any good at his job, he’s going to find out how.
Even if it’s the last thing he does.
‘aut viam inveniam aut faciam.’ → ‘i will either find a way or make one.’
