“Twenty-three people are dead, Wilde. Can’t you be serious for once in your life?” Hank asked, slamming his hands down on the interrogation table as he stood up, towering over their suspect. Wilde didn’t even blink, just looking between the two detectives calmly. He shrugged. 

“Are you sure?” he asked, and it was the first time he sounded serious since they booked him two days before. 

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Alexus asked, leaning on the table from her seat. Wilde looked to her with a little, annoying smirk on his face and leaned in as well. 

“Are you sure it’s twenty-three?” he whispered and Alexus froze, a chill running down her spine. Hank tensed beside her and they shared quick glance. 

“What are you trying to tell us, Wilde?” Hank asked, voice high and tight, too quiet in the vacuous room. Wilde smiled, like he knew something they didn’t. From what Alexus could tell, he did.

honestly i’m not sure! the only thing i can say for sure is that it won’t be updated as i write, i make too many changes in later drafts to warrant that. it’ll mostly depend on how long it ends up being, i might look into publishing if it’s long enough?? but i’ll still be posting content for it as i write and i’ll give updates about that kind of thing for sure as well! i appreciate your interest!! unfortunately it’s just too early into writing it atm to know for sure haha;;
