For the WIP Word Guessing Game: Sun
from the spring musical:
“You can do this,” Oliver says, gentle but firm. “I mean, we survived the winter concert and the orchestra contest, so obviously we can do anything. You can get through this, Han.” “Survived the winter,” she repeats, her hand trembling in his. He knows it isn’t this winter that she’s thinking of, but last year. Last winter, when everything was so dark. “Survived the winter. And it’s spring now.” “Yeah, spring’s here. It’s warm again, all that fun stuff. Sun’s shining—well, during the day it’s nice and bright at least, and the snow’s melting, and the trees are gonna have leaves soon. Winter’s over, Hannah. Time for new beginnings, yeah?”
