Jeno liked to think that he knew his members pretty well. They have been together for over a decade, and, as NCT Dream’s captain, he was almost 100% sure that he knew every move his members would make.
That is until they got to Kansai International Airport.
Everything was okay at first, aside from the fact that their bags were a little delayed from release, so the eight members of Dream decided to wait in a cafe while things got sorted out.
It was when Mark was doing a silent headcount when they realized one tiny little detail.
“Um, guys?” The leader called everyone’s attention. “Where’s Hannah?”
Jeno looked up in alarm while Jaemin’s eyes widened. The sound of slurping stopped from where Haechan and Jisung were seated, and Chenle smacked the table.
Renjun looked up from his book. “Didn’t she go to the bathroom?”
A quick glance down at the purse in his lap made Jeno shake his head. “She’s on her period, she would have taken her bag with her.”
“I thought I only had one girl in my life that gets lost at airports,” Haechan mumbles while standing up. “I’ll take Chenle and check the Duty Free, she might be looking at perfumes again. We’ll be back in twenty minutes.”
Jeno nodded, getting up as well. “I’ll retrace our steps.”
“I’ll go with you, hyung,” Jisung picks up his drink. “After we find her, maybe we can check the gachapon.”
Mark nods. “Be here in twenty minutes. Jaemin, Renjun, stay here in case she comes back. I’m gonna go tell the managers.”
Just like that, they each went their own directions.
He wasn’t worried. No, Hannah was a fully-grown woman who had her wallet on her despite leaving her phone in her purse with him. It was more of amusement pooling in his and the rest of the members’ minds that, after years of her shepherding them together in the airport, she had suddenly gone missing.
The two boys had made it a point to keep their eyes peeled at pastry stalls or gift shops in case they find her, knowing she spends a little more impulsively on sweets and cute trinkets when on her period.
Within eight minutes, something started vibrating against Jeno’s torso. Something from inside Hannah’s purse.
“Her phone is ringing,” he mutters and goes to open the purse before his eyes catch Jisung’s. The younger boy gave him a sheepish smile, pulling his phone away from his ear, showing Hannah’s contact details on the screen.
“I just thought I’d try…” Jisung trails off before his eyes narrow. He perks up and points. “There! The gachapon!”
“We can check the gachapon after we find—” Jeno cuts himself off when his eyes fall on a familiar hoodie standing in front of one of the machines.
Jisung excitedly runs forward, a laugh escaping him as he arrives at his noona’s side. Jeno shook his head and fondly made his way over to them.
“Hey, Jen,” Hannah smiles at him while twisting the knob. “Look what I found.”
The sound of the ball rattling in the machine pulled his attention, similar faces plastered on the side of the glass.
An NCT Dream gachapon machine.
“You have the real NCT Dream with you on almost a daily basis,” Jeno chuckles, opening her purse for her to put the little capsules she already had into.
“I thought it would be cute if I could get all of us,” she places the ones she’s holding into her purse before opening the one she pulled just then. “Yes, finally! This one’s you, Jisung.”
She hands the maknae a small hamster charm, making his smile reach his ears.
“Thanks, noona,” he clenches it into his fist. “This was really nice of you.”
“But,” Jeno interjected, “you could have told us you were going to go here. Haechan and Chenle are looking for you in the perfume section in Duty Free. Jaemin’s getting you a hot mocha. Mark hyung’s checking with the managers to get them ready to talk to security.”
“Aw, I’m sorry,” a small chuckle escapes her lips as she reaches up to ruffle both the boys’ hair. “It just slipped my mind. I’ll make it up to you guys, our dinner’s on me tonight.”
Jeno chuckles as well, throwing an arm over her shoulder and leading her away, back to the cafe. “You don’t have to. I’m sure the others won’t mind once you give them those little figures.”
“If you got everyone,” Jisung catches up to them quickly. “Which, you did, right?”
“I did, yours was the last I needed.” Her arm looped through his, the three of them falling into step together. “But, for some reason, I got like six Marks. I’m giving them away at the concert.”
“Lee Haeeun, you will get your ass over here right now and treat that.”
Hannah rolled her eyes at Haechan while he dragged her to the rest of the 127 members. On their way to practice, she had tripped over her shoelaces, which wouldn’t have come undone if it weren’t for the rush the two were in, and her arm had hit the corner of a door frame. She didn’t even notice it was bleeding until Haechan looked at it and practically screamed.
“Honestly, Duckie,” she laughed to hide her wince while she pressed her hanky a little harder onto the gash, “you’re already overreacting. What more would the others do if they just see me turn up with blood on my arm?”
Haechan simply looked at her with a serious face before pulling the door open and bringing her inside. “This. Hyungs! Haeeun’s dying!”
“I’m not dying!”
Her words were drowned by the sound of worried calls of her name and footsteps running in their direction.
Jungwoo had reached her first and gently pulled her hanky away to see the damage. His eyes widened when he saw that, although slowly, blood still dripped from the slightly deep cut.
“Mark, Jaehyun, call someone from the medical facility.” Taeyong’s voice rang clear as he took a spare towel he had and rolled it up, pouring a bit of water on it. “Somebody look for the emergency kit in here.”
Doyoung and Taeil immediately began to look around the room for the kit the staff had placed there in case of emergency injuries.
“What did you do, Kitsune?” Yuta lightly thumped the side of her head, making Jungwoo swat the older’s arm away. The Japanese boy merely resorted to having her stand for a bit so he could place her on his lap.
She sighed while handing her arm to Taeyong who had gestured for her to place it in his hand. “I just tripped and hit a corner. It’s nothing big, I swear! You can ask Duckie!”
The 127 members sitting by her all turned towards Haechan. The other maknae crossed his arms and frowned at her.
“It is big,” he pointed out the wound Taeyong was cleaning the blood out of, “it looks really bad! I don’t understand how she’s not writhing in pain right now!”
She was about to speak up, but Johnny beat her to if. “Hate to break it to you, kiddo, but that does look like it might need stitches.”
A groan escaped past her lips. Not Johnny, too! She was already being coddled by Jungwoo and Yuta while Taeyong cleaned her wound. Doyoung was also freaking out, from what she could see through the corner of her eye. Not to mention Haechan was on his phone, searching for a way to help take care of her wound.
It’s not like she didn’t like the fact that they took care of her. She did promise that she’d act more like a maknae than an older member, but it almost felt like too much especially for a simple cut on her arm. It’s not like she had fractured anything, one bandage and she’ll be fine!
Yet they had Jaehyun run to the other side of the building, still. It’s not like they hadn’t treated wounds before. Thankfully Mark still kept his head on straight.
“I called manager hyung,”
She stood corrected.
“Mark Lee!” Her incredulous look was met with a stern look.
“Hannah, that’s not just a shallow cut.” Mark approached her and looked at the wound alongside Taeyong. “Taeyong’s been wiping away at it, but the blood isn’t stopping.”
The eldest member took the towel from Taeyong and gently pressed it onto the gash with more pressure than even she did a while ago. This made her flinch.
“Oh, my poor baby,” Jungwoo patted her cheek. “It must hurt a lot, huh?”
“You don’t need to hide it,” Yuta had nuzzled his cheek onto her head and lightly squeezed her around the waist.
She scoffed. “I’m 22 this year. I don’t think I should be fazed by something as minor as this.”
“Is it really minor, though? Mark, try lifting her arm.” Doyoung came with a clear box in his hand. Haechan took it from him and quickly looked through the contents.
Lifting her arm? It’s not like that would be a problem since it wasn’t broken or anything. They were seriously underestimating her, if they thought that something as small as a cut would stop her from—
Her thoughts were cut off by a sharp pain that made her jolt.
“Exactly my point,” Doyoung noted. “Look, there’s even some bruising going on around it.”
“I knew the metal on the doorframes was a bad idea.” Harchan grumbled as he handed Mark an antibiotic cream to put on her wound. He found the gauze and the medical tape as well and began opening them.
Johnny lightly ruffled her hair. “You’re gonna be resting from dance practice for a while.”
Her eyes widened, but Taeyong spoke. “Hannah, that gash is about 2 and a half inches long. It looks deeper than what you make it out to be, and Doyoung’s right. You’re bruising and can barely lift your arm above 45 degrees.”
“It’s like getting my vaccine again,” she snorted.
“Hey,” Mark tapped her temple before taking the gauze from Haechan, “serious time. Jaehyun come back with a medic, we’ll have you checked over and see if you can take a painkiller. After that, we’re going to the hospital because you genuinely might need this stitched up, okay?”
She groaned and threw her head back onto Yuta’s shoulder. The Japanese boy laughed and pinched her cheek.
“Fine,” she huffed out, “but no one’s telling my boyfriend about this. He’s gonna freak.”
Johnny’s sheepish smile caught her attention. She narrowed her eyes as she watched him slowly tuck his phone into his pocket.
Can I request some angst to fluff with Sungchan and Shotaro, please? If it doesn’t feel natural, or you need to switch it up in any way, that is totally fine. Whatever you feel like will work out the best. (:
hi bub! after how long, i’ve finally got this done! though i’m sorry if it’s not up to par since all the writing i’ve been doing for the past three weeks is academic writing 😭 anyway, here you go and i hope you enjoy 💖
With the amount of promotions she had gone through in the year, as well as a SuperM concert, she felt as if she didn’t prepare enough for the release of Sticker. It was bad enough that she felt like she couldn’t do her best during recording, so she needed to make up for it through dance.
Which is why she was practicing in her living room, furniture all pushed to the side, curtain that covered the floor to ceiling mirrors pushed to the side.
It probably wasn’t her best idea considering one of the others could wake up at any given moment, but she took all the precautions. Practicing using bluetooth earphones and holding them in place with in-ear tape, wearing thick fuzzy socks that Jaemin had bought for her with the bottoms lined with a small grip, double checking if everyone’s actually asleep, and keeping Minnie in hers and Mark’s room. Everything was set, and she’d just put everything back into place by three in the morning and shower then go to sleep.
So maybe it wasn’t the healthiest thing to do considering the busy schedule her day had in store for her, but it was a necessity to show her best side as much as possible.
The sound of a door opening reached her hears through the soft volume of her music. She quickly took her earphones off as a dazed and slightly confused Shotaro walked out into the living room.
“Hannah?”
“Hey,” she placed her earphones to the side, “what are you doing up?”
The Japanese boy rubbed at his eyes before approaching her. “I was just thirsty. Hannah, it’s two in the morning. What are you doing up when you’re busy tomorrow?”
Two in the morning? A quick look at the clock was enough to confirm what her friend said. She had thought it was only midnight, not two. Her mind instantly started calculating how much time she’d have to sleep if she just continued practicing and slept on the couch by five.
“I’m just practicing.” Her voice held just the slightest hint of a yawn, which made Shotaro frown. “Gotta be prepared, you know?”
“But you are prepared.” Shotaro lightly grabbed her wrist and pulled her over to the kitchen. “Come on. We’re drinking some water, then we’re going to sleep.”
Hannah had no plans of sleeping while she still felt unprepared, but she let Shotaro pull her along. The least she could do was keep him company.
She watched in silence as her Japanese friend pulled out two mugs from the cupboard and filled them with water from the fridge. No words were exchanged between them until he took her used mug and placed it with his in the sink.
“Come on,” he tugged on her arm, “let’s go sleep.”
Hannah let out a loose chuckle and lightly removed his hand from her arm. “I’ll stay back and clean up.”
She was met with his contradictory hums and head shaking, some things she found endearing about him.
“No,” her arm was in his grasp once again, “you’re gonna stay up still. I don’t even know why you need to when you know this dance by heart at this point.”
“I just have to stay prepared and show the best sides of myself on stage.” She paused after saying that.
A glance at Shotaro made her hands curl up in the slightest. It was no secret that he had been feeling bad about not really being that active while it seemed everyone else, even Sungchan, were quite busy.
At that moment, there was just the smallest bit of silence as the boy pulling her along seemed to wake up even more.
“Roo, I’m sorry.”
“No,” he sighed, “it’s fine. I know that the company has different things planned for me.”
Hannah lightly pulled her arm out of his grip and brought him over to the couch. This action made him shake his head at her.
“No, we are not talking about this right now.”
“Might as well.” A slight grunt escaped mouth her as she threw herself on the couch. “You don’t think the company’s treating you badly, do you?”
“I mean, I’ve posted content recently.”
She cut him off. “But you haven’t been performing. Which is what you came here to do, perform! You work just as hard as all of us, I think you should be given your own performances, too.”
Shotaro only shook his head at her. “It’s not really a big deal. Sungchan doesn’t perform either.”
“He’s an MC. That’s a performance in its own way.”
“You would know. You were supposed to be MC, and you were excited, too.”
A silence rose in between them once again. Ever since she was given the news that Sungchan would go to Inkigayo instead of her, she never really talked about her almost-role. The whole of NCT knew how excited she was because she took her own steps forward to be less introverted, but the company took it away from her. They all knew how disappointed she was, which is why Sungchan clung onto her for the longest time after that.
Shotaro placed a hand on her knee, bringing her out of her thoughts. She pressed her lips together into a tight smile before placing a hand on his.
“It’s for the better,” she shrugged. “I have way too much going on, anyway, with all the units and SuperM having activities. Not to mention the collaboration early this year.”
The Japanese boy squeezed her knee. “I’m surprised you’re still up on your feet.”
“So am I. You know, I wish I could share my projects with you. Maybe then I’d get a longer break and you’d be on stage more.”
He only gave her smile and shook his head. The same thought ran around their heads. That’s not how things work. In the industry, you’re either overworked or hidden away, especially in their company. She already knew Shotaro was just grateful to be doing youtube content and posting on his instagram.
Shotaro scrunched his nose before tossing a few pillows on the floor. She watched curiously while he stood up and grabbed the quilt that they always had folded at the end of the couch and spread it on the floor.
“I don’t want us to talk sad,” he began while pulling her to the makeshift bed he created, “I want to sleep, and I want you to sleep instead of practicing, so we’re sleeping out here.”
She laughed but settled next to him on the floor. “Want me to play a soft playlist?”
“Yes, very much.”
That’s how Sungchan found them merely a few hours later. The two were curled up on the living room floor, and he made it just as the music cut out from Hannah’s phone dying. The younger boy shook his head in amusement before going to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. It was a good thing they had leftover takeout from the day before. This way, he could make sure his hyung and noona rested longer.
hi!! can i request smth where hannah gets a nightmare ab the sasaeng thing and yangyang tries to talk to her ab it?? (angst 4, 15, 17)~ 🍟
hey bub! of course! i havent written about yanghan in a while and i miss them aksjdhf (they’re going strong btw, rest assured yangyang is constantly hyping his gf up on ig, weibo, bubble, and just anywhere he can) aaaanyway, here it is! 🥰 everything is spoken in english btw so i won’t be doing the italics on this one
WARNING: violence and attempted murder (but it’s all a nightmare), sasaeng, kinda graphic
prompts: “Why are you lying to me?”, “Holding everything in doesn’t help, you know.”, “If you don’t hug me right now I think I might fall apart.”
—
Hannah struggled to pull the girl’s hands away from her neck. She tried calling out for Mark and throwing the cup on her bedside table at the wall separating them in hopes that he’d come help her.
“Don’t you dare think my Mark oppa is going to come and save you, bitch.” The hands around her neck tightened, and all Hannah could do was struggle against them. No matter how much she clawed away at the sasaeng’s arms and hands, it was like she felt no pain.
Then they met eyes. Hannah froze. These eyes held so much malice in them. They were so cold. They reminded her of his eyes.
Then the door burst open. She could see Kihyun, her manager, on the other side of the door.
That’s when the sasaeng decided to yank on Hannah’s hair and use that to drag her to the window. Hannah desperately looked at Kihyun, unable to yell due to her throat being in pain. Where was Mark? Why wasn’t he coming? Did the sasaeng get him before her?
She watched as her manager tried to break through the barrier to get to her. Since when had there been glass in her door frame?
Her hair got pulled even harder as the sasaeng pulled her face up.
“If you want to be with my Mark oppa that much, then so be it.”
Hannah couldn’t do anything as the sasaeng pushed her out the window. She glanced at the streets and saw a red spot and familiar pajamas, making her breath hitch in her throat.
“Hannah!”
She shut her eyes. It was impossible for Kihyun to save her at this point.
“Hannah, please!”
It was taking awfully long for her to hit the ground.
“Hannah, wake up!”
What? She was awake. And that wasn’t her manager’s voice.
“Hannah, you’re having a nightmare. Please, wake up!”
With a gasp, the London-born girl sat up, panting in fear. She clutched at her chest and looked to her left. Next to her was none other than her boyfriend. Yangyang looked quite worried as he cautiously moved his hand towards her. Hannah flinched back and got off of the bed, shocking Minnie awake as the pomeranian was sleeping on his mini bed just by the foot of hers.
“I’m fine,” she told Yangyang, “just need a glass of water.”
She walked out of her side of the room, thankful Mark was spending the night at his girlfriend’s place because he would for sure wake up if he were home. She headed over to the window and took a deep breath before looking down from it. Nothing. Barely even any cars or people down there. A relieved sigh made its way out past her lips as she headed to the kitchen. The light footsteps behind her told her that Yangyang had also gotten out of bed and followed her to the kitchen.
“Do you need anything?” he asked her. “Do you want something warm to drink? Or food? I can run down to the convenience store if you like?”
“No, I’m good,” she reassured him and pulled out a glass and a pitcher of water. “I’m just parched. Keep it down, would you? Shotaro and Sungchan might wake up.”
She let the short silence pass between them as Yangyang went to the fridge and took a small carton of milk. Her boyfriend poured the milk into a mug and covered it with a plate before placing it in the microwave.
He leaned against the counter and looked at her with an eyebrow raised. “Holding everything in doesn’t help, you know?”
“I’m genuinely okay,” she tried to ignore the way her voice wavered, “and you should go back to bed. I’ll be right there.”
“I don’t think you’re okay, Hannah.” His gaze was a lot more intense than normal, making her shift a little from one leg to the other. “You had a nightmare bad enough that you were thrashing around. You don’t normally move more than two inches in your sleep. I need you to tell me what happened. Please don’t bottle it up.”
“It was nothing. Don’t think too much about it.”
“And let you overthink about it?” he scoffed as the microwave dinged. She watched as he took the milk out and walked over to her, handing her the mug. “No way. I know it isn’t nothing. Why are you lying to me?”
She bit her lip and looked down at the mug, gingerly taking it from his hands. “Milk? What am I, a toddler?”
“Hannah.”
Meeting her boyfriend’s eyes, she nearly caved completely. She took a sip of the milk and basked in the warmth that spread throughout her body, easing the tension that was forming. A hand made its way to her face, the way the thumb lightly stroked her cheek making her lean into the touch.
This was so different from the tight grasps and painful grips that she could remember. These touches were soft and careful. They were gentle. They weren’t out to get her. In these touches, there was comfort and no fear of being hurt in any way.
She could feel herself choking up. “If you don’t hug me right now I think I might fall apart.”
Yangyang didn’t have to be told twice.
She let her boyfriend pull her into a hug, hiding her face in his neck. It was comforting the way he whispered comforting words into her ear. All of a sudden, a hand made it’s way through her hair. A kiss was placed to the side of her head when she flinched, making her relax just a little more. There was no pulling, only reassurance.
After a while, Yangyang lifted her onto the kitchen island and leaned back a little. The way the warmth of his hands spread from where they were placed on her waist made her feel safe. There wasn’t some psycho deranged fan in her dorm out to get her. No, it was 2021, and that person has long been detained. She now lived not only with Mark, but with Sungchan and Shotaro as well. And, she had this amazing boyfriend in front of her who, despite his constant playfulness, was very intent on taking care of her.
“I saw her again,” she whispered to him as he handed her the warm mug of milk. “And Kihyun oppa couldn’t save me this time around. She got to Mark first and—“
Her eyes shut as she remembered the blurry yet clear image of her brother-figure on the ground. It was something she couldn’t say out loud, not without breaking down. As much as she and Mark go back and forth, he did mean a lot to her, and seeing him like that was terrifying, even in a nightmare.
“That wasn’t real, alright?” Yangyang reassured her. “It was a nightmare. You’re safe here. Security’s insanely high now, and that person’s gone.”
“I know.” Her voice was uncharacteristically small as she let Yangyang lightly pull her head down to place a kiss on top of it.
“Drink up,” he gestured to the milk. “Once you finish this, we can go to sleep again. No more nightmares. I’ll be right there.”
She looked at him, incredibly grateful. They had been dating for only a few months, yet he already knew how to calm her down that easily. He saw her bad sides and actually decided to learn about them instead of brushing it off.
She gently placed the mug on the surface next to her as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriend’s shoulders. He had settled himself between her legs and rested his head on her shoulder while he rubbed her back and traced nonsense words on there.
I don't know if this would work but could you do a scenario where Hannah and Yangyang are being very affectionate and coupley and nct members walk into the room and be dramatic and overprotective. That would be so cute. 😊😊
sorry it was so late hun i just have a bunch of stuff i’m working on aksjdh 🥺
but FLUFF OKAY LEZZGEDDIT 🥰 i should really start writing more of hannah and yangyang aksjdhf for now though, i hope you enjoy this! here we have yanghan being cute and winwin being the only calm one in the room...

It happened during 90’s Love practice. Of course it did.
Yangyang had brought Hannah to the practice room an hour before their practice for the SMTown concert recording. He said something about spending time together before everyone got there. She shook her head at him when he brought it up. It was three days into dating, and he was already being clingy.
That’s how she found herself cuddled into Yangyang’s side on the couch of the practice room while they talked about nothing and everything.
It was comforting to her that she could still be like that with him. Their nonsense conversations never changed. Their playful dynamic never changed
She was brought out of her thoughts by Yangyang pressing his lips to hers.
“Pay attention to me,” he mumbled into the kiss. She pulled away and laughed.
The only thing that changed between that was how he was somehow way more affectionate and bold, especially when it came to kisses.
“If this is your way of trying to be sexy,” she laughed while poking his forehead, “you’re way off. That was cute as hell, Schnucki.”
Yangyang raised an eyebrow at her before standing up. He dragged her over to the mirror then proceeded to kabedon her, trapping her head in between his arms. She rolled her eyes at him when he lowered his face to be just centimeters away from hers.
“How about now?”
“The fact that you asked made it cute.”
“There is no pleasing you, is there?”
Hannah raised an eyebrow at him before maneuvering them so she had him in a headlock.
“Hey, hey, hey, stop!” Yangyang tapped at her arm. “This is not how it goes!”
“Did you really expect me to fall for that anime crap?”
“Yes? Now would you let go of me?”
“Make me.”
She felt Yangyang’s struggling pause. In confusion, she looked up. She saw him smirking through the mirror. Before she knew it, Yangyang had pulled her arms away from his neck, and he was trying to get her into a hug. She laughed as she tried to run away from his grip.
“No, you don’t get to run away.”
Yangyang somehow managed to circle his arms around her waist. Hannah was not about to let him win their game of tag, so she tried hooking her leg onto his and pulling. Sadly, she forgot that it would lead to her downfall as well. Literally.
In the blink of an eye, she was on the ground, Yangyang’s upper body on top of her with one of his hands behind her head and the other next to her head and holding him up. She blinked at him a little bit, shocked that he somehow moved fast enough to cushion her head and catch himself from the fall.
“Hi.”
His unadulterated grin showed just how happy he was despite nothing too big happening. She could feel her cheeks rise up, unable to stop herself from smiling. She raised her hands to squish his cheeks.
“You’re way too cute for your own good, Schnucki.”
She saw the way he glanced at her lips before looking back into her eyes. This just made her smile more. He began lowering his head to kiss her.
“NO! YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY HAEEUN YOU COOTIE FILLED SHEEP!”
Yangyang was tackled to the side by a force she could only identify as Lee Haechan. She sat up and saw how Haechan was lightly hitting Yangyang’s arms while keeping him down on the ground, the younger one laughing.
“Ah, ah,” he couldn’t control his laughter, “Haechan, that hurts! I’m sorry! No!”
She turned her head to find Ten frozen by the door and Winwin poking his shoulder trying to get him to move. She got up and walked over to the two elders.
“I think Haechannie’s beating your boyfriend up,” Winwin noted while pointing at the two on the other side of the room. Wow. Hannah didn’t realize just how far Haechan tackled Yangyang.
“I think I might join Haechan,” Ten took off his beanie and threw it to the side. “No one can touch my baby!”
“He’s literally your baby, too!” she yelled after him as he ran towards the two. “Oh wait, did I just admit to being his baby?”
“I don’t think he noticed,” Winwin laughed.
She smiled up at him, thankful he wasn’t reacting as drastically as Ten and Haechan, who were now taking turns to lecture Yangyang. He sent her pleading eyes, trying to get her to help him, but she shook her head and laughed.
“You’re lucky it wasn’t Kun-ge or Lucas,” Winwin told her. “Or Jungwoo. They would literally throw Yangyang around.”
“This is why you’re going to help me keep this incident a secret, won’t you, gege?”
“Too late,” he laughed. “Haechan has his phone out.”
Hannah looked and saw Haechan typing on his phone. Her eyes widened, and she broke into a sprint, aiming to take his phone.

“You sure you wanna order dinner?”
“Hans, we literally spent the whole day working. Go take a nap or something, I’ll order the food, then I’ll be back here in an hour.”
Hannah nodded at Mark while he walked her to their door. They had been filming content for Cafe 7 Dream the whole day, and she was exhausted. It was enjoyable, yeah, but Hannah is still an introvert, and her battery tends to drain quite quick.
“Don’t forget to get the one flavor of chicken Taro’s been craving,” she told him as he walked towards the stairs. “And the cookies Sungchan likes!”
“I got it. I swear, you’re such a mom. I’ll be back after I ask Taeyong hyung about this track.”
She shook her head and pressed the code into the keypad. It was silent in the dorm, which was strange since she knew Shotaro and Sungchan had no schedules or training. She figured they were asleep and decided to walk in as quietly as she could.
“Minnie,” she called in a whisper, “are you out here?”
Her dog didn’t come running to her like usual. Maybe he was in Sungchan and Shotaro’s room taking a nap with the two boys. She shook her head fondly at the thought. It took her dog quite a while to warm up to the two newcomers back when they first moved in in July. Now, he was attached to them.
She glanced at the spot where Minnie’s bed used to be. If Minnie wasn’t asleep with Hannah in her bed, he’d be asleep in his bed in the living room. Shotaro and Sungchan eventually moved Minnie’s bed into their room. To her pleasure, Minnie was very comfortable in their room as well.
Speaking of their room, Hannah heard voices as she walked past their door. She was about to knock and ask if they were hungry, but she heard her name in the conversation.
“But hyung,” Sungchan’s voice carried through the door, “you can’t tell me you aren’t afraid of other guys falling for Hannah noona!”
“She’s an idol, Sungchan.” Yangyang’s voice surprised her. What was he doing in her dorm? Now that she thought about it, she saw his shoes by the entrance. “People are going to fall for her no matter what. I can’t blame them either.”
“Why?”
“Look at her! Aside from the fact that she’s extremely talented and beautiful, she’s funny, she has a warm soul, and she has a kind heart. Chenle’s right when he says she has a heart of gold.”
There was a silence between the two boys while they let Yangyang’s words sink in. Hannah smiled. It was nice to know that Yangyang really did appreciate her.
“Not to mention she puts up a fight,” Yangyang chuckled. “She makes things fun by taking jabs at me and joking around with me. Sure, we do get cringey in the sweet way. I’ve seen the pictures and videos the members have been taking. But she’s not afraid to throw jokes at me the way we’ve been doing for forever.”
“Hyung... You’re whipped.”
“I know. Hannah’s the full package and more, so of course I’m whipped. There is no chance I’m letting her slip away from me.”
She smiled and took that as a chance to knock. When Sungchan called for her to come in, she opened the door and saw the two boys sitting on Sungchan’s bed. She ruffled the younger’s hair then gave Yangyang a kiss on the cheek.
“I brought back cake from the cafe,” she laughed. “The other boys took all the cookies, but I told Mark to order those cookies that you like, Channie.”
The grin on Sungchan’s face grew as he jumped up and ran out the door towards the kitchen, Minnie jumping out of Yangyang’s arms and running after Sungchan. “You’re the best, Noona!”
She chuckled and sat next to Yangyang, a content smile on her face while she looked at him. He raised an eyebrow at her as if asking her why she was staring. Without a word, she lightly tugged him forward by his shirt and pulled him into a sweet kiss.
Yangyang’s hands were quick to pull her closer, one placed on her cheek and the other circling around her waist. The way she could feel him smiling against her once again reminded her of how much he appreciated her. Her insides melted, and she found herself smiling as well before pulling away and resting her forehead on his shoulder to hide her reddening cheeks.
“Wow,” Yangyang placed another quick kiss to the side of her head, “not that I don’t love it, but what was that for?”
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For liking me enough to talk about me like that.”
“Hey,” he lifted her face to look at his, the uncontrollable smile on his face making her fall the slightest bit more once again, “I could talk about you for days. You’re one of the best people to ever exist, so you deserve to have only good things said about you. Besides, if talking about you like that gets me random kisses like that, then I have to let you catch me slipping more often.”
“Or you could just kiss me,” she gave him a pointed look. “It’s not like we aren’t dating.”
“You’re absolutely right,” he leaned in closer, but Hannah snorted and pushed him away by the forehead.
Could I ask for something sweet and fluffy with Mark and/or Jaehyun for Hannah? You do what you want with it, I just need some more fluff in my life at the moment. (:

“Hey, princess,” Jaehyun opened his door and let Hannah into his room, “you’re here early.”
“Because I don’t want you to just wear a black shirt again.” Hannah walked right to his closet and started sorting through everything.
He shook his head at her and watched while she rummaged through his clothes. Their lunch break only started ten minutes ago, but she was already dressed in jeans and a a cardigan, a stark difference from the yoga pants and loose top she had on for practice. He looked at her a little closer and saw that she was even wearing a little makeup.
“You don’t have to treat me to lunch,” he told her. “Doesn’t your boyfriend want to eat with you?”
“It’s Jaehyun day, this isn’t about him.” She scoffed. He gave her a look which made her laugh. “We’re gonna watch movies in bed tonight. Aha! Wear this.”
She tossed a black shirt and a white knitted cardigan at him. He raised an eyebrow at her when he realized that they would match.
“You get one day of me doing these cheesy things. Now, go and put it on so we can go out and eat.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Ten minutes later and they’re sitting in a small empty restaurant with two servings of pasta of his choice in front of them. He watched her face scrunch up when she poked at something orange in the pasta.
“Who puts carrots in pasta?”
“It’s the style of the dish.” He picked it up with a fork and placed it into his mouth, enjoying the way the sauce coated the carrot slice. “You should try it.”
Hannah shook her head and started moving all the carrot slices to the edge of her plate. “No way. I am not eating these orange demons.”
“But it’s my birthday,” he poked through a slice with his fork and held it up to her, “and I want you to consume at least one slice. For me?”
He raised his eyebrow at her and gestured to the fork he was holding up to her. The same fork she was glaring at. He pulled out his phone and started to film her with his free hand. He laughed while she glared at him and just broke into the biggest grin when she leaned forward and ate the carrot slice.
“Oh my god,” he zoomed in on her wincing face, “she actually ate it. In the eight years I’ve known her, this is the first time I’ve seen her eat a carrot.”
“Shut up.” Her face comtorted into one of disgust while she chewed on the carrot. “I hate this so much.”
He shut his phone and poured some water into her glass. He chuckled when she took it and chugged the whole glass.
“You good, Hannah?”
“I am never eating a carrot ever again.”
“For me, you will.” He put on a teasing smile and took a bite of his pasta.
She just grumbled and went back to removing the carrots from her plate. He took them and placed them on his own plate.
“Never again.”
“Alright, alright.”
“I mean it, Valentino.”
Jaehyun’s laugh resonated throughout the restaurant. Needless to say he enjoyed the nice little birthday lunch.

It was a loud night in the Lee Siblings Dorm. With both Yangyang and Haechan over and everyone having a free day the next day, The six members decided to gather in Mark and Hannah’s room for a mini Mario Kart tournament.
“No!” Haechan's cries of despair were all the other five could hear as he came in right behind Yangyang and coming in third. “Dammit, Yangyang! Haeeunnie, you have to avenge me.”
“I got you, Duckie,” Hannah laughed while Yangyang set up the next round. She turned to Yangyang with an open mouthed smirk, tongue pushing against her cheek the slightest bit. “How about we make this interesting, Schnucki?”
Yangyang turned to her with a raised eyebrow. “I’m listening.”
There was a slight tension in the air as the couple stared each other down. Haechan had a knowing grin on his face, already aware of what Hannah had up her sleeve. Mark popped some chips into his mouth as if he were watching a movie while Sungchan and Shotaro watched with wide eyes.
“If I win,” she began, “then you have to make it seem like you slept with me to Ten oppa and Kun baba.”
Yangyang gulped. Everyone knew that, out of all the NCT members, Kun and Ten were among the top overprotective members over Hannah. Well, after Haechan.
Haechan snorted at that, knowing that, despite Hannah and Yangyang both being adults, the news of them sleeping together would incur rage from Kun and Ten. Also Doyoung and Jungwoo, but going to the WayV dorms may be safer for this consequence because Johnny and Taeyong are quite unpredictable.
“Good luck, hyung,” Sungchan laughed after clarifying the proposed consequence to Shotaro. “I’ll try to make sure you at least have a body for your wake and funeral.”
“But we haven’t slept together,” Yangyang’s eyebrows furrowed. “Well, not in that way.”
“Which is why this’ll be funnier,” Haechan shrugged.
Hannah chuckled and reached back to fist bump him before turning back to Yangyang. “And, if you win, I’ll grant you a wish.”
“A wish?”
“Anything you want,” she smiled sweetly at him. A stupid grin spread across his face while he pulled out his phone.
“I don’t like where this is going,” Mark spoke up. “My bed is literally just across those cubbies.”
“Not like that, you loaf of white bread,” Hannah threw one of her throw pillows at him. “Save your fantasies for your girlfriend.”
“Hey! I don’t have fantasies about my girlfriend!”
"Yeah, well, half the world's population does." She shook her head at Mark's appaled expression and turned to Haechan and Shotaro who were both snickering. “I’m glad you two are enjoying this.”
“Start the game already,” Shotaro got out amidst his laughter.
She shook her head and started the game with Yangyang. Ten minutes, a lot of screaming, multiple bananas thrown, and a string of curses later, Hannah passes the finish line just a second before Yangyang. His anguished cries were drowned out by the sound of five people cheering.
He gave them an incredulous look. “Was no one on my side?”
“Sorry,” Shotaro laughed.
“Not sorry,” Haechan continued, “we all want to see you get beat up by Kun hyung and Ten hyung.”
“This will be fun,” Sungchan grinned.
Mark shook his head and got up. “I’ll get the first aid kit.”
“They’re not actually going to kill me, are they?” Yangyang looked at everyone who remained in the room. Upon seeing the looks on their faces, he let out a nervous chuckle. “I’m dead.”
He pulled out his phone and opened his message thread with Ten, knowing that the Thai boy was sitting in Kun’s room listening to drafts their leader had in his computer. He typed out a message before shutting his phone once again and proceeding to hide in Mark’s closet.
“I’m not here,” was the last thing he said before shutting the door.
Hannah chuckled and got up. “I made rabokki earlier today, and there’s pork belly in the fridge. You guys hungry?”
“Noona, you’re the best,” Sungchan grinned at her before racing out the door and towards the kitchen, Haechan hot on his heels.
“You don’t really think they would attack Yangyang, do you?” Shotaro asked her while helping her up. He helped her pick up the bags of chips left behind and let her loop her arm through his.
She laughed and guided him to the living room. “Sweet, innocent Roo. Keep your eyes on the living room door. In about 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.”
Comically on cue, the door practically slams open as Ten's worried figure walks right in. He gathers her right into his arms, cradling her head to his chest, which proved a struggle considering her arm was linked with Shotaro’s. Kun slammed the door behind him and headed straight into her and Mark’s room.
“Where is he?”
Hannah and Shotaro exchange glances before Shotaro escapes her arm and pokes her cheek before rushing to the kitchen to keep Sungchan and Haechan there.
“Oppa, what are you doing?”
Ten dragged her to the couch and coddled her to himself. “My little baby was violated!”
She snorts, but let’s Ten do what he wants. From the sound of his voice, he was either about to break a person or break down crying.
Mark steps into the hall with the first aid kit in hand. “Oh, hey, hyung. What’s up?”
“How could you leave her alone with the sheep?”
The 99 liner was about to speak when the door next to him opened to Kun dragging a protesting Yangyang out into the living room by the ear. Hannah held back her laugh and tried to head to the kitchen. Keyword: tried.
“Not so fast, Hannah Lee,” Ten pulled her down next to him, “you’re not leaving my sight anytime soon. Mark, I’m sleeping over.”
“Knock yourself out.”
She watched in amusement while Kun dragged Yangyang onto the couch and stood in front of him. The WayV leader pulled out his phone and showed it at the maknae’s face.
“What is this?”
She squinted her eyes to read the screen. Yangyang’s message read ‘do you think the pill is good enough protection?’ and, once she read it, she burst into laughter. Kun turned to her with a stern look on his face.
“Huang Huanuo,” he faced her, “are you laughing right now? This is serious! Do you know what could happen? To both you and your career? Were you even ready? Did he pressure you?”
Yangyang looked appalled, “Wait, why am I the bad guy?”
“Not now.” Ten's glare combined with his serious voice silenced the younger.
“Baba, relax,” Hannah escaped from Ten's hold and placed her hands on Kun’s shoulders. “I know my limits, and I know whether I’m ready or not. You don’t have anything to worry about.”
Kun looked more stressed put than he ever did in his life. “Nothing to worry about? Huanuo, I know you aren’t ready to do something like that, especially this early in a relationship. When I tell you it’s okay to tell us if he pressured you rather than protect him, then it’s okay.”
“Besides,” Ten stood and placed a hand on her back, “the industry we’re in is cruel. If the pill doesn’t work, then you’re gonna be torn apart. I don’t want you getting hurt over him.”
“Relax, guys,” she shifted so she could face the two older members at the same time, “you don’t need to fight anyone. This was a prank. Like you said, baba, I’m not ready for anything like that.”
When the words registered in their head, she could see them physically relax. Kun pulled her into a hug, which she returned to somewhat apologize for making him panic. Ten in the meantime shook his head a little before bending down in front of Yangyang.
“You better be thankful this is a prank,” he threatened the younger. “I don’t care if we’re group mates. If I hear you hurt my baby in any way, shape, or form, or forced her into something she doesn’t want to do, you’ll cease to exist.”
Yangyang’s eyes widened as he nodded. “I won’t. Don’t worry.”
“Good.”
She chuckled at their exchange before patting Kun’s back. “You good, there?”
“I was so worried.” Kun buried his face into her hair. “Never ever do something like this again, okay? I almost had a heart failure.”
“Got it,” she smiled. “Do you guys want to stay for dinner? The six of us have rabokki and pork belly on the menu. I can whip up egg rolls.”
Ten looked confused. “Six of you?”
“Six of us.” Yangyang confirmed while standing up and pointing to the counter that separated the living room/dining area from the kitchen where four figures were poised. “Mark hyung, Haechan, Shotaro, and Sungchan are watching from there.”
The four in question waved while happily munching on chips as if it were pop corn. Hannah let go of Kun and proceeded to scold the four for eating chips right before eating dinner. Yangyang rushed over to help her set everything up.
“Good show, hyungs,” Haechan smiled brightly, “I enjoyed it. Understood nothing, but enjoyed it!”
Kun and Ten met eyes for a moment before Kun practically collapsed onto the couch in exhaustion.
“Hannah and Mark’s manager moving out is the worst decision the company has ever made.”
